Some really nice touches by Dempsey, including a little sombrero there. He's set up three chances in about five mintues on the pitch.

 

Demps is playing very well thus far. He's created three legit scoring opportunities... and with a bit of style too.

 

That sombreror was class, and he almost got an assist out of the play.

dempsey lost somne of that drive at points last year, probably getting frustrated with results... maybe hodgson is getting much more out of him by keeping him pissed off and coming off the bench... 20-30 minutes of impact vs. 90 minutes of mediocrity.

 

Roy Hodgeson kind of looks like Madeline Albright.

depends what you mean by rainbow -- a sombrero/sombrerito is any sort of a little flick that puts the ball over the defender's head. If you mean the heel flick kind of rainbow, then no, that's not what dempsey did. it was more like this:
