You can't really see it too well in the video, but 2 minutes in he's clicking the heels of his red boots together after scoring against Kansas City.

I'm a DC fan, but the "home run swing" goal celebration was awesome.

I can't really think what his gesture has to do with Chelsea or Abramovich though.

The "Stop, Drop and Roll" was quality as well.

And I still found it hard to believe until the very end...so what? Until Bayern soke out I had a very dificult time relying on this Goff guy...as far as spouting BS...I was basically giving my point of view which it seems you did and still do not like either. Is it because they are different from yours?

Feel free to put me on your "ignore list" if you really believe all my posts are garbage and BS....

Now, would you mind staying on toipic. We can do some more Donovan talk on the Donovan thread if you like.

Your opinion is wrong, and this is a forum, so I'm telling you. I brought up the LD moment because it was another point in which you maintained the same line of thinking (it's just my POV, stop attacking!!?!?!) when you were dead, freaking, wrong, and told so by a dozen posters with more knowledge of the situation than you. It's nice to have a perspective, but you're just keep on it, keep pushing, and you're on the fringe. Just post that drivel once, and keep moving.

As for this, I'm not going to keep going in circles with you. I have to think you watch a lot of football, so my only conclusion is this.

If you think that headed goal was in any way simple, you simply haven't played much actual football yourself, and/or you're posting to stir up argument (just like your LD posts, IMO). You see 5 headers every game, with a much smaller degree of difficulty, missed every game. I already pointed out WHY it was a difficult headed goal, and you choose not to respond, which really makes me believe you just haven't had much coaching and don't know much about the proper technique in heading a ball towards goal.

Both of Dempsey's goals were pretty awesome. I personally thought the header was outstanding. Food for thought: Dempseys first goal was #5 on top 5 goals on Fox Sports Espanol, and I dont think they let simple tap ins make the list.

I never said the headed goal was very simple....

    Here's my post;
So get your facts straight on what it is exactly you want to argue with me about...

That's a much stronger statement than "not as spectacular as"

Ok, now I think we can stop attacking crismerz09. Lets discuss the title of the thread. Has Dempsey showed that he can play at this level?

crismerz09 is a troll with a very limited understanding of the game it's best to put him on ignore and maybe he'll ******** off back to World Rivalries or go bother the English or Dutch.

Yes, let's. The range of opinion deemed even tolerable (much less acceptable) around this place has gotten pretty narrow.

He's earned a starting spot under a coach who wasn't responsible for bringing him to the club and who was actively looking for his replacement. I would say so.

I wouldn't call Cris a troll, but given that the goals came against one of his favorite teams, maybe he's failing to see things objectively. Whatever.

I'm looking at my notes and fail to see where this is indicated. In fact I see sweetness and light prevailing for at least...wait, I'll get back to you on that one.

crismerz is NOT a troll. Hey, I also think he has hid head halfway up his own ass on this particular topic, but for him, that's an anomaly. He's not a guy we want to be chasing off.

    I mean, it's not like he's M, for God's sake! Now M, he's a troll's troll.

Ah, yes, the mean mean streets of South Seattle. Could drive even the best of us right to Seatac.
Sir Roger Taylor of Cabrini Green would not have dared let his El Rukns risk being cripped in those hellholes of Puget Sound. :)

Clint's goals were both nice, the second quite lovely. Both Chelsea goals owed much to wrongheadedness from the Fulham keeper. The freekick, in particular, was a fine example of how a goalkeeper is always but a moment away from tragicomedy.

The only thing dangerous about South Seattle is the number of people jumping out of buildings to keep up it's much lauded Suicide rate.

    You da man Lost U.

Every now and then, I miss the sheer lunacy of Dirly McGirly's horrible posting, now that I have him ignored. You quoting him has allowed me an element of nostalgia that I have, in some perverse way missed.

Is it possible that Dempsey just works harder in England then he will for us internationally? Opinions anyone?
