http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/10/07/courtroom.slashing.ap/index.html "I've contended all along that this guy is nuts, and to be honest, this pretty much confirms it," Garraway [the lawyer attacked] said late Wednesday. "... what kind of rational person would attack his own lawyer?" that's a sweet ass defense. i can't wait for the law and order episode about this.
Quote: "It was not the first outburst in the trial. On Tuesday, while the jury was out of the room, Williams threatened to shoot the judge, the prosecutor and the court-appointed attorney." Why did he let the jury off so easy?
....or at least the defense side of it. Despite my more left-leaning tendencies, there is no way I could be a criminal defense attorney, especially a PD. I did a clinical during my 3rd year where we represented indigent defendants and it was mentally, physically and emotionally draining. A tip of the cap to those that do it though.
