Seriously, for the Supporters club, Go with "Thunder" or "Sky Riters" (need to make many signs) or "Jersey Skys"

Alternative supporter types are also welcome at our group, SKY BLUE ANONYMOUS, where we meet regularly, usually for home games, and only a first name is required. And check out our sister site: http://nightoflivingrefs.blogspot.com/. This blog, also dedicated to our uncontrolled addiction to SBFC, is being augmented one day at a time, so please check back often. :)

Anyway, glad to see there's a few people interested. Feel free to email me emusandaardvarks [at] gmail [dot] com and perhaps we can get something going.

Had some more All-Stars announced today! Now in total we have Tasha Kai, Laura Kalmari, Heather O'Reilly, Karen Bardsley, Christie Rampone, and Brittany Taylor.

If this isn't cause to support this team, then I don't know what is.

All tickets for this week's game are now only $15 bucks! Take yourself and your honey dip, or your kids, or the kids of that really hot person you have your eye on but you're still trying to win over their kids.

No excuses now, think of how much beer you now have room to purchase. :)

There's no footy of the full game that I know of. Sometimes highlights are put up a few days after than game. So far none are up from the Breakers game. I'll keep checking though.

Ok so maybe next week most of the team will actually want to play for their paychecks.

Not an enjoyable game to watch. The PK awarded to Sky Blue looked like a dive by Kai, to me, who's touch had put the ball too far away from her to shoot. The third of fourth goal by Philly (sad that there were so many I lost track), was a lob from ~35 yards with the keeper 12 yards off her line.

    Ugh.

Well, saw that one coming. Every week the team who plays against us has a lot more shots on goal (better statistics) etc... last week also against boston we were so sooo lucky with that PK at the end. Even the 2 games against chicago where we won, absolutely not convincing. Can't remember one game where we were dominant. We just had luck Bardsley was in the goal.
For the moment Miettinen can't get it together with this team... To much changes compared to last year?

I think we picked up some good players aside from Luckenbill, but then again isn't wasn't like anyone has been pushing her to get into shape.

With this group there's no reason why they shouldn't be performining well. I think the biggest problem this team has is with the coaching. Miettinen has not prepared this team well enough. It's starting to become so obvious. I only hope that this is fixed before this team unravels. If they don't get it together they can kiss another championship goodbye.

My heart goes out to the players who try to squeeze blood out of a turnip week end and week out, the fans (like myself) who stand by this team riding with all of it's ups and down, and the people in the office who do everything they can to get people to these games (only to see a crap match/play).
