I only have the matchtracker on MLSnet.

20 minutes in, and it doesn't look good for our guys.

    What's going on?

35 minutes in and its even worse.

I hope Jeffries considers pulling Kreis, Pareja, etc at halftime so that at least some of our key players are fresh for Thursday's match.

    Dear El Jefe,

As of half-time it's not working.

    Dear Coach Jeffries:

As that great Southern philosopher Kenny Rogers said:

"You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table.
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done."

I think it's time to walk away from the table, Mike.

    Sincerly, vw

Jason is out, EJ is in. I hope Eddie decides to show Ruiz he can be just as good.

I'm ready for Eddie to live up to his potential. Four goals in 40 minutes would sure do that!

    Excellent move, Coach J.

If we don't close the gap soon, how about pulling Pareja and Morrow so that they can see some action Thursday?

Do you guys think the person doing the commentary on the match tracker could be any more excited about LA? I know we had to have had some good plays, but not a single chance has been mentioned.

    O'Brien in for Vaca.

Who knows? Four goals in 20 minutes? It could happen.

I do sense a slight LA bias in the matchtracker commentary:

"79' - Jeffries now inserts Jordan Stone for Oscar Pareja. Definitely a game the Burn's midfield general will want to forget"

Make that a game we'll all want to forget. :(

    At least we scored one.

I hope Thursday is the exact opposite of tonight.

They better rip the Metro to little tiny bloody pieces. There is just no excuse for that crap performance. To their credit, they played all 90 minutes and made sure LA didn't get off without a decent fight. Breaking their shutout was at least something.

It's a good thing I'm not on the road right now, or I'd be an accident waiting to happen.

RUN METRO INTO THE GROUND AND SET IT TO BURN

SCORCHED EARTH POLICY! GO BURN !

I don't even know why I get my hopes up about this team anymore. Ok Ruiz's goal was pretty amazing, but can they please stop falling for his dives? Fox Sports World was kissing his ass more than ESPN kisses Donovan's. The second and third goal were preventable. Gimme a break, let the old man score, PUT YOUR FOOT IN FRONT OF THE BALL, hey JORDAN! Fall asleep? Then the counter attack with no defense left causes Suarez to shoot the ball into cobi's legs and roll past Jordan off the post and in. 4-0 on a PK, I stopped watching, I heard Cerritos scored, good. You know when we lost Graziani we lost a proven goal scorer. We have guys who can tap the ball in but know one who is a real threat to goal, Jason just doesn't do it anymore. Anyone else with me on that one?

Yea, and skunks don't smell. I'm getting sick of seeing you in the Burn folder. If you had something, anything to say, your presence would not stink so much. But since Chicago lost to the Burn for the second time this season, you've done little but troll. Pathetic.

Let's see Chicago is playing the other semi-final of the USOC.... no, no, they lost to their A-league affiliate a couple of rounds ago.

hey *********, I meant we were gonna win not that Jason would score. I'm just saying Kreis use to score a whole lot more than he does now. But I didn't know we would just bend over and take it from the Galaxy either. Oh well frankly I don't give a $hit what you think Segroves, you just want to follow me anywhere I go and make fun of me, which is alright in the rivalries board, but me and everyone else is sick of you here. BTW I hate LA and their fans too.

In a year that the path to MLS Cup is basically cleared for you, if you play at all like you have the last two matches you'll be able to come up and watch us in the semifinals.

The gift path to the MLS Cup is giving the Eastern Conference champion homefield advantage for the playoffs despite the fact that they have the 6th best record in the league.

BTW, I forget which number do you wear when you play?

Oh freakin well. It's not like you haven't had your opportunity though. In the short life of the MLS Central Division (and an automatic top 3 seed) you won it exactly 0 times.

    29, Bitch.

HalaMadrid you bore me and everyone else with your goon smack, go bother some team in your capability range, maybe New England or DC, but please, bitch, don't talk smack till your team makes the playoffs, because guess what? It's not gonna be easy for you and your bottom feeding team.
