That is tremendous and so richly deserved as well. If anybody can think of a better goal EVER scored by a Canadian, I want to know about it. Dale Mitchell scored some nice ones as did Branko Segota but this one beat them all IMO. Now, all DeRo needs is MVP honours. A Canadian hat trick!
Has to be the best goal a Canadian has ever scored. Absolutely stunning. If it was with the men's national team, the ball would have been 10 yards over the goal. He has scored some nice goals for Canada, but he is just so inconsistent.
i still think roberto carlos' kick was better against france... but....my God....this was close to 2nd....does anyone have a clip???? nvm..its in that link....thanks..
Great Free Kick..clearly bent away from the wall and in where the keeper had no chance as where he was positioned. but probably wont constantly get goals like he did. always great to hear though.. .
