What a play by Acosta. Two years ago he may have squandered that last moment by making the wrong decision. The dribbling skills were there from day one. But now he has the maturity to finish the play with a shot or the right pass.

Three players who are standing out for me right now are Brillant, Arriola and Moreno. Brillant is actually playing like one of the better center backs in the league this past month. He's winning everything in the air and putting in some hard tackles. Arriola is really playing like a pure right back today, making big defensive plays and also playing a big part in the 2nd goal. And moreno is such a 360 degree player. He sees everything, moving the ball calmly and tactically always putting himself in the right position.
DC is looking good, but can't afford to let up now. It's a shame we can't figure out how to get Mattocks on the field, too. I doubt he'll want to be here next year as a sub, so we'd better be looking for a young scorer who might not mind subbing for Rooney.
Acosta is crazy fast sometimes. Seeing him beat three defenders to dish to Rooney was amazing. Wasn’t sure Rooney would pull down the pass in the wind to set up the second goal but he got it down.
