Where: Audi Field When: tomorrow, 7:00 PM EDT Why: the show must go on before the virus comes back (see Colorado vs RSL) Why: not sure at this point - Maybe because Loundon isn’t a thing anymore. How: DCUnited Stream, ESPN+, WJLA 24/7 stuff Need a win.
Actually, and I am loathe to admit this ---- a moderator is correct. The MLS website shows 7, the website match preview says 7:30, while the "official" DCU website says 7. So 2/3 of those say 7. Wouldn't it be funny if Olsen and company thought it was 7:30 and came out late?
Per Goff's latest, Ben may be fighting for his job. I hope Chad is too. Ben trashed his team's first half performance against Nashville, calling his starters "frauds." Locker room revolt may be underway. Expect many new or rarely seen faces in the lineup, including Yordy Reyna. Re; Ben's status. Apparently, if the club fires him before his contract ends after next season, it has to give him a position of some kind at a reduced salary. So our cheap owners will have to decide if its worth dumping him now and paying for a new coach (who surely won't sign for peanuts) while still paying Ben, or just letting things slide for another year. Maybe they would just dump Ashton first, and see if things improve.
I hope it's at least the latter. If they get rid of Ben, but not Ashton, there will be little/no change.
According to Goff, no Paredes tomorrow -- hammy. So, will it be Asad and Gressel? or Yow and Gressel or Asad? or Yow and Reyna? Personally, I would take Yow and Gio Reyna, but we can't have nice things.
No Paredes? Really. Do we have a team fitness program or is it show up, stretch, play. How can you not manage to keep a teenager match fit and uninjured?
He's been fouled hard, and pretty often since our opponents have figured out he's the best on our "team."
Tonight is Yom Kippur so I can't eat or drink for 24 hours once the sun sets. I really don't need to start this off with a bennyball match. Win or lose, I just don't want us to play 8 defenders.
It has been easy to drift in and out of games. Have they previously been doing ads that take up the bottom and a side of the screen while the broadcast shrinks?
