Time for a breakout game to get the season back on track. This is one of those times you pretended to be in when playing sports as a kid (a la Casey at the Bat). DC should break out of their slump, Khumalo, Doe, and Emilio get on the score sheet as the team runs rampant over Chivas Reg...err... USA.!

    Forza United!

If you look at revelations plan and see what revelation has done, you have to agree it's the only policy.

I think we should be able to dust these guys, even without Emilio and Moreno - though that certainly will make it more challenging.

Ivan should be available. FB, DC United have no choice here but to win. If they don't win, they should just pack up and go home for next season.

At home against this kind of a crap team = 3 points! Grab the bull by the horns!

Throw the goats down the well,
So my country can be free,
We must grab them by the horns,
And we'll have a big party!

Goff said 25,000 tickets have already been sold for this match.

Should be a great crowd. Now, can United show up?

Find a replay of the Celtic game from 2005 (6?) to warm him up :D

I hope they were inspired watching their "replacements" on Wednesday showing some balls, and heart :)

I wonder if all the Mexicanos think the REAL Chivas is coming, rather than the SEARS Chivas? ;)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Doe instead of Boyzzz, or Gallardo instead of Tino. I'd prefer to see Janicki instead of McTavish.

If we had Moreno or Emilio available, I'd rather a 4-4-2 as well, but with both of them out, are best bet is to dominate in midfield, and deny Chivas' passing lanes or room to operate on the flanks.

I started Tino over Gallardo since Gallardo obviously isn't 90 minute fit, and I'd doubt he's even 45 minute fit. Give Tino an hour, then bring Gallardo on for about 30 minutes against a tired Chivas.

I'm surprised that some think we are going to roll right over Chivas. They've had the same injury stricken season as us and yet have more points. We've been playing like crap and I don't know many teams in the MLS that we can beat with the way we've been playing.

I'll keep the faith about reaching the post season but we still have games @ Houston, NE, and @ Columbus  Pretty grim IMO :(

    Aguante United!

Whoa, surprising, but tickets for Barra sections should still be available tomorrow night, right?

Well, he's a Hibernian supporter so he might get a kick out of that.

No Moreno, no Emilio = no chance

Nevermind the fact that United can't stop giving up goals, now all of a sudden the offense has dried up even with Moreno/Emilio playing.

Sucks too because we might hit near 30,000 for tomorrow night.

Let's hope a minor miracle can occur and someone will step up and lead the way.

A man can dream can't he?

Quite simply, to have any playoff chance, we must win. I hope Soehn hasn't been afraid to kick some butts in practice, or at least threaten replacement with our reserves who outperformed the regulars in the CA match. If we can't bring a new level of energy and commitment to this match it's the final nail in the coffin for Soehn as well.
