Nice to see the consistent pressure despite having scored already. 2 or 3 before halftime would be nice.
I'm liking the job that Limarzi does, once I've gotten used to his delivery. I think he does a nice job of painting the picture of what's going on and where it's happening on the field. Plus he offers analysis as well as his play by play.
ok BY ME! Chelsea style. 1-0 up, block the midfield and work hard for another. not pretty, but damn effective!
Does anyone know if the higlights of this game will be on the FSC show @10:00? Plus these houtson bums should lose, we tied them in a 13 v 11 man match in the carolina challenge. They should by all rights be coached by cheatin bob.
Limarzi has the most aggravating voice ever to grace the airwaves. But he's lightyears better than most MLS announcers since he seems to actually enjoy MLS. Most use that gridiron football announcer's voice and seem to be bummed about the fact that they're the ones who got stuck on the soccer beat. One thing you have to understand about Limarzi is that he is the proto-homer. This sometimes makes listening challenging since it's tough to figure out what actually happened. BTW, what's up with MLSnet? They had this game listed for a video feed all week and took it off this afternoon. And they want us to pay for this service?
I worked with a guy who knew Tony Lamrzi and, apparently, in regular social situations, he isn't nearly this manic.
Apparently, you have to be a HDNet subscriber to view this game. The only bar in Virginia that subscribes to HDNet is Grevey's, and if I could make it to Grevey's, I'd make it to RFK.
I understand but then why did they have video listed as an option all week...I checked this morning. I'm just bummed 'cause I'm stuck listening to the radio (ain't got a TV).
I'm flying into DC tomorrow. If I'd remembered that this game wasn't televised, I would have flown in today. Grrr.....
