That's all Ariel needs, another yellow card and he rides pine for the next game at home. I hope Anh is wrong about Ariel (but right about Conrad/2-1).
McKinley for all intents and puroposes has played well for United this season when he plays centrally.. It's when he plays on the left side of defense where his criminal lack of pace is horribly exposed.. Additionally, his upfield forays leaves Bobby Convey exposed on one or more occasions and leaves Convey having to cover for Ivan the Terrible (we call him ITT) too much and this of course lessens Convey's offensive impact because he has to track back too far to cover for ITT.. We do much better with stay at home defenders like Prideaux and Nelsen on the left than with ITT out there.. It just seems stupid tactically to do this on Hudson's part...
I don't like your team or fans, but if you could put the nail in D.C.'s coffin, I'd at least acknowledge you as a club. Thanks.
The more I think about it, the more I think getting a draw in this game is crucial. If we draw this game and win our 2 home games, LA will be eliminated and Dallas will be forced to get 3 wins and a draw in their last 4 games to catch us. If we lose, Dallas can go 3-1 and win the division. And their schedule is soft.
I don't know what Yallop said at halftime, but the Earthquakes are definitely playing better so far this half. The only change at halftime was Dayak for Agoos. It is nice to see both of them back.
Landon just went past 4 DC players and Rimando to score another very pretty goal. Earthquakes 2, DC 1
duh... never mind... I'll make sure that I've actually read the last post before posting another... ) woohoo! 2-1!
Holy cow! Great job Radiogal. I can't believe I have to miss this game. We could end up looking back on this comeback as the key moment of the season.
Is there any chance someone could tape the FSBA tape-delayed version of this game for me? I'll be back in time for the Columbus home game and would be glad to exchange a blank tape for it.
