Hey I am thinking about having a keg at my house or something either before or after the game what do you guys think....Liz is gonna get me a discount at legend (please Liz?).I have a huge yard and off street parking and it's directly across the bridge from U of R stadium....
If you give me money for a keg I can work on it. We don't do kegs for the public, and even with our discount I think they're still around $80-90... I'm definitely down with the party at your house though!
I can kick in $30 to cover part of the cost of the keg. My vote would be for drinking before and after but that's just me. Keep me posted. I'll check once upon a vine and see what kegs they can get as well. I should be up there this weekend.
I'll check at Legend on the specific prices (I just reread my response and it's confusing...employees can get kegs, the public cannot, and it's slightly discounted from what would be at Total Wine, etc.). I'm not sure if they only do the little skinny kegs or if they do the regular ones for us...I'll be there Monday and will try to find out. Like Richard, I'm also for drinking before and after! I've been doing a bit of recruiting around Richmond so there should be some new faces at games this season.
So here is my question.....are people going to tail gate at UR??? Or is there just going to be people Drinking good beer then heading to the game??
Does Willis live closer to the stadium? If so, I say his house so we don't have to carpool as far. Does he live on the other side of Nickel Bridge too? If my house wasn't so small, I'd offer it up so no one has to pay the toll. I think you and Willis need to discuss. A sidenote: Richard, I left work at 10pm and the elephants still hadn't paraded. The train didn't even get there until 8ish.
aww I know that's your favorite day of the year Willis lives off of Midlo tnpk kinda towards Chippenham. Technically Richard lives closest to the stadium, but we're all withing 2 miles
I still have pictures on my phone from last year. You and Willis should talk about who's having the party and let us know. As I said, I'd volunteer my house but it's a little on the small side.
Great drinking in Richmond at someones place....should be fun, hope the person has room...just let us know the $$$$ for the beer
I'm officially volunteering my house, huge fencded in backyard, the house itself is kinda small, but not too bad. Although I;m not the one getting the keg PM me if you want directions
I will TOTALLY spoon with you girl!! If it's an after-game party, we're claiming the fold-out couch. If we make it back to my house, you can sleep in my bed. Ow-ow!
