Put his shit character aside, he is a magnificent striker. Succeed almost in every club that he played. too bad he ruined himself every time.

He’s had a productive career gotta give him that. For some reason though that miss he had against argentina over 10 years ago is the only thing I think about when I think of Dayro, still pisses me off. However, he did have that one assist to falcao against bolivia in extra time

Another goal for Dayro in the Libertadores.
    But his team was eliminated.

I know he plays in Colombia again but I need to ask. Because he made an impact in Romania our press sometimes has news about former players and apparently he in on a hot streak now

The guy was a great talent and for Steaua fans he will remembered fondly. So i need to ask. What will his legacy be in Colombia? I see he doesn't have that many game for Colombia NT either

For Steaua lots of talent but the wrong character. He could have been an absolute beast

We have a saying in Romanian for his type: born a talent and died a hope

I do think his legacy here would be the same as in Romania, incredible talent (wherever he goes he is a beast) however he is undisciplined and mostly a prima donna. And lets not talk about his drinking issues, altough it never seemed to hinder his performance.

He is one of the great goalscorers of our generation, sadly a poor professional on and off the field.

I enjoyed his play at Once Caldas mostly during the Copa Liberadores.
    He was entertaining in Romania.
    Fun to watch in Mexico.
He was hot and cold in Argentina.
I liked the way he helped us beat Argentina in 2010 Qualifying in Bogota.

That's about it. He really did not contribute to our Pekerman era teams that brought us much joy. If it were not for that I think he would be remembered more fondly but because of that he is just seen as an underachiever.

How do you guys rate these 3

renteria, Rodallega and daryo the biggest Falcao area players who Pekerman over looked

Rodallega is better than Messi so I pick him.

    Hahahhaha

but to answer the question truthfully, Dayro was the better of the 3

Edit: Huge Typo... Rodayegua is not better than Dayro

I still think Rodagol should have been called up to the 2016 Centenario instead of Dayro. Would have had a better chance against Chile if he had been called.

I am still wondering to this day why Pekerman never really gave him a fair shot.
