This month's World soccer has a feature on the 50 most promising young players from all over the world. It has a brief profile on a young Juve midfielder, Davide Chiumiento. My question is has anyone seen or heard more about him? Any idea on how long he'll make his way into the Juve first team?
He played for Juve's primavera squad and also had a couple of appearances with the main squad last season. He also started all three of Switzerland's (where he was born) matches at the U-21 tournament earlier in the summer though he supposedly still has hopes of playing for Italy in the future. This year, he has been loaned to Siena, so we should get a good idea of his ability to make the grade in Serie A.
