Depends if the team somehow drops points v Iceland, Romania or North Macedonia later this month, which is certainly possible, and/or Klopp leaves Liverpool at some point before the end of the season, which is less likely but could happen.

If either or both scenarios happen, I think Low will panic and do whatever it takes to hang on to his job.

    Anton,

Anton was born in Olmaliq in the former Soviet Republic of Uzbekistan to Russian-German parents. When Waldemar Anton was two years old, his family moved to Germany as a late repatriate, and his first name was changed from Wladimir to Waldemar. In addition to German, he also speaks Russian.

He can basically choose between three national teams: Russia, since his parents and grandparents lived as Russian-Germans in the Soviet Union, Uzbekistan, his country of birth, and Germany, where he grew up since he was two.

has no interest in Uzbekistan, its dfb vs Russia.

Waldemar Anton and Marc Oliver Kempf from VfB Stuttgart could be appointed to the DFB squad for the upcoming international phase.

With ninth place in the table, VfB has had an excellent season so far as a newcomer. It is no coincidence that Swabian players are also targeted by the DFB.

According to "kicker", Thomas Schneider was recently present several times during his work as head scout of the national team at Stuttgart games and is said to have focused on two defensive specialists. The central defenders Waldemar Anton and Marc Oliver Kempf should move in the orbit of the national team. For the VfB coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, who is responsible for everyday business, Schneider's business trips are apparently not surprising because of the duo.

VfB Stuttgart duo receives praise from the coach "Waldi is a player who is extremely active and able to learn," praised Matarazzo Anton. There were also warm words for Kempf: "Kempfi is our fighter. He is very tough in the duels, brings a certain emotionality that is good for us, wins many duels and has speed and dynamism."

It's a shame Stark had regressed so much. Would love to see the partnership of Stark and Kempf. They'll fear no one.

Niklas Stark might have the most badass name amongst football players. Few years ago I remembered even Bayern fans looking at Stark as Javi Martinez replacement. Too many injuries had advest effect for his quality of play.

I wanted both for Senior back in 2017 as they won u21 euro and were really great but yeah both Stark and Kempf repeatedly slowed down by injuries, it's a shame as they had loads of potential. Now will never reach full potential.

prefer Stark/Kempf over someone like Tah....

Actually thought about it again....I think Muller will come for sure and he would be wise to bring Hummel's just for depth.

If Gintner, Sule, Rudiger get injured or yellow/red carded and or if one of them is just not getting into the tournament groove then he can always rely on Hummels to bring something to the table.

So I have changed my mind and think that Loew commons sense will prevail (giving him the benefit of the doubt) and he will bring Muller + Hummels

Whatever you think about him, he took Germany to winning the World Cup and has left a lot of good memories of destroying main rivals. We should be grateful to him

Kuntz probably frontrunner for the job. Don't think Flick will do it, by the way no fan of him, Kloppo will not run away in Liverpool and to be honest I dont see him as a national team coach. Rangnick is too dominant for the DFB establishment

Low deserves credit for his achievements, however sometimes a coach can be in a job too long, this was a good example of that. He should really have gone in 2016. Things have gotten very stale and he has been allowed to have too much influence, which has wasted the last few years of what was still a very talented pool of players.

I wouldn't be too sure that Klopp won't leave Liverpool, but if he does I expect him to take a break. I also would expect Kuntz to be the most likely candidate, although I would prefer Rangnick.

WTH, with that in mind the odds of hummels boetang Muller all being involved at the Euros to have significantly shortened. He will want to go out on a high and will want his strongest possible team, so the transition period maybe bought to a halt

    Great news!

I thank him for the early years and the 4th star. As another poster pointed out he overstayed his welcome.

I think its the best thing he can do now....... Bring the best team to the Euros , no more building the future NT team, he can now focus on these last few games and bring the best team along to exist with dignity..

We definitely need a new thread for the Euros(lets create that after the games end of march maybe wit a nice poll) , and then another new thread for Post euros where we never ever have to talk about Loew again
