Ill buy it anyways tho, its got to be better than the gold one even tho i know some of you guys like the gold kit. gotta admit i was really close. I actually started off with the cookie cutter kit with the adidas logo centered. so i i predicted that tacky collar i would of been right I'm so happy that its finally come out, i've been waiting for a design soo long that i just created my own. I saw what Ajax and Liverpool looked like, so i took a guess from there.

Re: Neues FC Bayern Trikot 06/07 I wish we had any of these, they are sweet. I think the first one looks just like PSV Eindhoven, but i have always loved the looke of the vertical stripes. And the second one looks like FC Dallas, but i also think thats sweet bc it sort of has that Celtic aura to it I dont like the collar and i think any of these jerseys would have been better than that stupid collar one. but beggars can't be choosers.

I say possible either (a) combine design of #1 with this... only leave the vertical stripes in red, everything else white, except add Navy stripes on shoulders; OR (b) try changing vertical stripes to Navy, and leave rest as is??? Not a bad look, but a bit too much like PSV for my liking... #1 -- AWAY Kit Leave this as is... do not add that jacked up collar thing on catelogue pick... this kit in all white will be SMART!

So I would pick: Home: #7 but the blue and red reversed Away: #1 CL away: all black #6 In all three jerseys, I would like to have all the shapes of the 3 pairs of trim-lines at the front in the same pattern as Away #1.

Re: Neues FC Bayern Trikot 06/07 My two favorite kits were from around 99-2000 ish, both adidas Opel kits, man were they both sweet. My most favorite is the red and blue pictured, and my second is the half white/red with blue stripes. btw...horizontal stripes dont make me look fat, it sort of helps me being 5'11'' and 170 lb. And 19 years old and really athletic.

Such as either adding Red to the body in Version #7 ---OR--- Adding Blue to the shoulders of Version #3 (vertical stripes kit)

Like some of the T-Com jerseys they made too short in the front, i understand what they were going for but I just didnt like the feel. And I liked the fact the sponsors didnt seem ironed on. It was pure quality, you got your moneys worth with those kits
Re: Neues FC Bayern Trikot 06/07 Ok, something's wrong here: either I'm looking at the wrong website, or I just haven't been following FCB long enough and therefore don't know enough about their past uniforms...but: those #1 thru #7 options from several posts ago are the f'ugliest damned things I've ever laid eyes on! and that white one with the goofy slashes and swirls like the german national side's (and all other adidas national sides at the WC this summer) are just damned hideous. I was soooo looking forward to the new FCB uni this summer and this is what my choices are going to be?!?!? Screw it, I'll keep wearing my '02-'03 home and away jersies. those were classic: home had the dark blue with that deep shade of red, and the away outfit was the classic ballet in white, regardless of what real mad wears. The team has already incorporated that grayish-blue color back into the color scheme---where the hell is that color on the home shirt? anywhere would be fine, as long as it's not in those useless slashes and swirls. what's wrong with the (traditional?) blue/red scheme in the first place? Except for the blue tri-stripes on the away shirt, it's all a waste. someone help me here---what the hell am I missing? a few years ago, nike had those ridiculous slashes and swirls on their uniforms and they were horrid, but it was nike so it wasn't much of a surprise. I really never thought I'd see the day when adidas had the goofy crapola and nike was making sharp, solid designs (example: the US's present longsleeve home jersey of the latest nike design: classic and a bit timeless, while very sharp; and not cookie-cutter as in the past when every country looked almost the same except for a different color scheme here and there.) throw me a freakin' bone here...
Re: Neues FC Bayern Trikot 06/07 You must have a unique taste in jerseys. I've only followed Bayern since 2002, but there hasn't been a single shirt I haven't liked. Well, I'm not a huge fan of the current home shirt, but I'd definitely wear it (if I bought it). And the new adidas WC shirts? The current MLS shirts? I think they're great. I have both new German national team shirts, and I'm planning on getting the new Bayern away shirt and the new DC United shirts ASAP. I'm pretty sure it's a love/hate thing. But you're right, the Nike WC shirts are sweet, in a classic sort of way.
Re: Neues FC Bayern Trikot 06/07 I don't know. the whole thing is pretty befuddling. even though I've known about FC Bayern for most of my life, I only had the chance to really start following them in '02 like you mentioned, due entirely to the local cable operator adding FSC to their lineup. I think that's why the navy and dark red from that year are my favorite, because that was their uni when I first started following them. but with that said, these new ones just don't light me up like the others did. so maybe that's my lesson: new uniforms won't always excite you like they did the first time. it's a shame, because I wore that '02 shirt every thursday night when I played in our weekly pickup game. even as a grown man, it was still fun to pretend I was stepping onto the grounds at the old olympiastad to defend the home turf. simple pleasures, of course, but it sure was fun. I love the new DC shirt, and imo every newcastle shirt is timeless. but the new FCB and germany shirts just disappoint me and I was very much looking forward to buying both of them, and being excited about it.
