It was documented a week or two ago that Damani, as well as several other Jamaican's playing abroad would not compete in Digicel Caribbean Cup. Is there any other basis for this rumor? Thanks.

Re: Rumor: Damani Ralph sold to Russian Club? I don't think it makes sense for us but Russian teams have really started to be active in the transfer market especially with Brazilians and Portuguese teams, there is a rumour that a Russian team is going in for Costinha and Maniche from Porto.

Argentinians also have been flocking there, due to the emergence of at best 'questionable' capital... I hear (from Argie commentators) that really there are some shady dealing going on there (in Russian soccer) but that the clubs that sell them players are not the ones responsible for asking where the money comes from.... and i agree....... They ought to clean up their own mess...... Anyway, it would suck for your team, but if it's true, hopefully it was for good money and you get to spend most of it in someone else ....
Re: Rumor: Damani Ralph sold to Russian Club? Different countries have different transfer windows. MLS is open until 3/31. I think some Scandanavian leagues remain open. So maybe Russia is too. Maybe Russia has a spring->fall season like us and some Scandanavian leagues. So they might choose their transfer window the same time we do.

If they got rid of Ante knowing this was gonna happen, it only makes me really wish that Tonny Sanneh would actually slap Dave Sarachan and anybody else who approved this intro to soccer management 100 type of move. Great job guys. get rid of our front line I am sure Nate "strength of damp pasta" Jacqua will sole all our socring issues by falling down all over the field and MLS counting those as goals in our new scoring system adopted for weeping wallowing willow forwards. I'd be disappointed if we came up with another Caribe/C.A. player unless he turns out to be someone truly special.

Re: Rumor: Damani Ralph sold to Russian Club? Every country has its own transfer windows in which they can transfer players in. While much of UEFA appears to conform to standardized windows, it is possible that Russia has windows that are more appropriate to when their domestic season runs.
