I really want this one to break out against LA, we can do it As far as I know it would be our first original song (tho not melody) it's really so simple Dale, dale, Dale mi corazon. Ganaremos! Ganaremos! Seremos campeon. *drumdrumdrumdrumdrum* (spanish peoples feel free to translate, I understand it but I don't want to accidentaly butcher it) Most Barra don't know about this board, but if 30-40 people (specially loud ones) that post here all learn it (and perhaps teach just one other person at tailgate) it'll take off in 1 sitting. GM and Gaby already know drum beat to it... Just try it for yourself few times, it's catch as shit... you'll be singing it at traffic light or meeting and hate me. And when you learn it please sing it at game as loud as you can when you hear it, last time I felt like I was giving solo concert (and that's painful for ears) I'm away till game but lets stop talking and get this thing rolling here is version with different words, so just get beat from it http://bastaic.com/ultras/fire3/daledalenew.WMV
It's not Ganaremos, it's the burn!!! Oh, sorry, translation error I'll have to hear the words spoken/sung to decide if I can chant it or remember it, I look forward to hearing it Saturday.
I like this one a lot, the basic translation of the chant is as follows: Dale, dale Dale my heart We will win We will win We will be champions
Tommy playes me a clip pf this many months ago. I've been wondering when it was going to be implemented. It's easy to learn and has a cool ass drum line. I can't wait.
To the tune of "What do you do with a drunken sailor?" What do you do with a clueless ref, What do you do with a clueless ref, What do you do with a clueless ref, Who's F***ing up the game? Treat him to an Angry Pirate, Treat him to an Angry Pirate, Treat him to an Angry Pirate, He's F***ing up the game!
Here goes (now don't argue with me 'cause I wrote the lyrics ): Dale doesn't translate literally too well -- in this context it means "push on" or "give it all you got" [as in "NO PRISONERS!!] mi corazon means "my heart" literally -- in the song it is a metaphor for "DC United" Ganaremos means "we shall win" or we're gonna win Seremos campeon means "we shall be champion" or we will be champion Dale, dale Dale mi corazon! Ganaremos Ganaremos Seremos campeon! Phonetically: Dah-lay, dah-lay Dahlay me core-a-soehn. Ghana-raymos Ghana-raymos Say-raymos cahm-pay-own. It would be wonderful to hear this chanted by the Barra!!!!!! GM
We got it out 80%. Not bad but not great. I was pleasantly surprised we rocked it as long as we did. I think it'll be part of the Barra repertoire, no problem.
lol whatever it takes Sounded pretty loud in 36th minute on tv, everyone picked up words quickly. Melody got kinda garbeled tho but it'll get straightened out eventually. Drumming also got bit spotty, on tv at least, but most guys drumming also heard it first time too, maybe better letting Tommy and Andy give it a beat first few times would have been better. me likes Also, ton of new people, 136 as close to 135 level singing wise as I've seen it. And full.
I noticed one time you were trying to get this one going, early on, and those far away and not watching you heard DALE and started one of the other songs that start with DALE. Eventually we got it though. Seriously song sheets really help.
