Further to our conversation today I would like to confirm with you that any consignments shipped by yourself into the USA with a declared value of 200 USD or below should not incur any customs/duty charges. I understand that you have received notification from some of your customers that they have been charged customs/duty charges for the goods with a declared value as above. In order for DHL to fully investigate this could you please provide me with specific airwaybills so that I can then contact the USA to eliminate the issue. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may be causing your company. We will reimburse any of your customers who have been incorrectly charged for this.
