Does anybody else find it fascinating how the Chicago Cubs' (Major League Baseball) PR people are managing to diffuse the potentially explosive situation with the fan that took the foul ball away from Moises Alou? It seems they have put a lot of effort into it, and I think they are doing a good job. I think they have gone to some of the people involved, like Alou, and sort of rewrote their opinions. There were people at the game last night that wanted to kill the guy. That could mean real trouble for baseball. It kind of makes you wonder what the truth is in any news story, however.
This threads tucked away in a back water of Bigsoccer. Just saw the incident you refer to on preview of tonights game, very funny incident. Of course it was still top of the 8th with Cubs 3-0, so they can`t lay the blame on him. Two on base, still 3-0 Marlins.
