    5 plus 3 injured...

    so 8 total starters...

Yeah...same with what happened a few years ago with America..being dead last in the local league they went on to semi-finals only to lose on away goals to LDU Quito.

Sometimes I wonder if this place is anti-Brazilian. Vagner Love just missed a wide open chance at the end and Adriano did as well minutes before. Both teams could have scored more.

    I said U could've scored one more, did i talk about Flamengo?:p

I think they(U de Chile) had better chances, fewer but better.

I agree, being absolutely fair I think that La Chile outsmarted Fla for most of the first half.

Even if Flamengo tied this the 3 away goals adventage is HUGE.

Can't they stop with the lasers already? Silly me, at first i thought it was the lights of the ambulance in the corner.

sao paolo would not say the same, trust me. they were like "oh man that faded jersey team plays some boring stuff, playing them is like playing some team from like serie c or like serie d from brazil. we just tie them and went to penalties because we wanted them miss all of their pks"

I agree about the lasers. It's ridiculous. If I saw the guy, I would have knocked it out of his hand.

3x3 is what I am hoping for, to even have a sliver of hope still.

La U impersonating Internazionale Milano. It's going to end with all 10 hanging from the travesaño.

huge blow to Flamengo's hopes is that news just announced that Bielsa will allow the chilean players to play la vuelta...still will be missing Itturra, Victorino, Fernandez and others, but its something. UdeChile's B team got absolutely destroyed by UCatolica last weekend

I find ridiculous that the people in charge of broadcasting Libertadores has, for the 3rd time, lost signal during the transmission of an U de Chile game.

Least Fla got that 2nd goal, a win by a 2 goal margin in Chile is not out of the question.

Karma, but that comes to show how cheapos they're at FOX Sports, because Tapia and Biscayart weren't at the stadium and by the looks of it they had NOBODY in there...

But still notable win by U de Chile. Second leg is gonna be really intense.

The 1st goal we let in is an embarassment to the defense. Absolutely ridiculous. The 2nd goal was a foul. The 3rd goal was a nice counter by la U.

2-0 is possible, but I highly doubt it. I even doubt they win the match there, especially if they come out flat like they did tonight.
