No, because they're not welcome in Calama. But they will play against us in Calama on July 10th, in an official game of the National Championship.
Can anyone see a Inter of Brasil vs a Inter of Milan in the Fifa World Club Cup Final? Man, that would be something!!
We played them 2 years ago in Dubai and won. It would be nice to repeat the place and the score. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENlFZHRZMyY"]YouTube- INTERNACIONAL 2 x 1 Internazionale de Milão[/ame]
I'm going for Inter this time around. The last time something like this was possible was back in 1998 in the Vasco vs barcelona Copa libertadores Final. If Barcelona of Ecuador would have won than it would have been a Barcelona vs Real madrid in the Copa INtercontinental.
Trust me when Chivas plays against U de Chile who ever the ref is their is gonna be yellow cards flying left and right in favor of U de Chile and maybe some for nothing. I know watch!
Internacional and Internazionale - a possible 2010 FIFA Club World Cup final match, but only if Internacional gets past SPFC (which IMO will not happen as SPFC is the better team right now - but we'll see) AND Cabras Guadalajara advances OR Universidade de Chile advances AND loses to Internacional in the final. I want SPFC to face Internazionale, obviously.
Even if Chivas beat Inter, Inter take a trip to the club world cup, not Chivas. Chivas are guests of the tourney.
That sounds like it could be a very defensive match between two great defensive teams. One goal could decide it.
Read my post again. Internacional would face Internazionale only if it reaches the final, by advancing past SPFC, AND if Cabras advances (which means Internacional would be in the FIFA Club World Cup no matter what) OR if U de Chile advances to the final and Inter wins it.
Yep. It'd be huge - Internazionale is an amazing side; they will not have Mourinho as manager but they'll still have world-class players: Julio Cesar, Maicon, Lucio (key components of Brazil's NT) as well as Diego Milito, Zanetti, and Cambiasso - three players from your country who are NT-level talent and sadly only the first will be in S. Africa. I wonder if Diego Maradona has had second thoughts after seeing Z and C play. btw where's your blog review of the 2nd leg of the quarterfinals?
Ahh, gotcha, I get what you mean. This is how I read it in bold... "AND Cabras Guadalajara advances OR Universidade de Chile advances AND loses to Internacional in the final." Cabras or U de Chile advances and loses. It's all in the same sentence. Anyway, looking forward to the next round.
Cambiasso played a hell of a game, but I was extremely impressed with Robben. Felt bad for the guy, he didn't have enough help.
Well, the thing is, I went to Vegas and stayed all week for my wedding anniversary so I couldn't watch any of the games yet. Would you believe it, the Casinos have hundreds of screens showing crappy sports and not one screen showing Copa Libertadores. I have the games on tape, so I'll try to write something if I can manage to watch them soon. I have a pretty good idea who the goat was this week.
As a quick trivia bit, Internazionale was founded in 9 March 1908, while Internacional was founded in 4 April 1909. So in an Inter vs. Inter final for the CWC, Inter1 would be the UEFA club and Inter2 the CONMEBOL team, by a year.
Mosco, please exit this thread. Every thread, you always throw a ref comment in there. Quit bitching.
