    -----------------Jorge Campos----------------

Raul Gutierrez(?) ---- Tena ----- Ramon Ramirez
    --------------------- Rafa Marquez

----- Marcelino Bernal ----- Garcia Aspe
    --------------------------Benjamin Galindo

    --------Cuauhtemoc -------- Zague
    ---------------------Hugo

    Some subs:
    Goalies: Adrian Chavez, Osvaldo
    Defenders: Claudio Suarez
    Def Mids: Miguel Espania
Off/forwards: Negrete, Borja (why not?), Luis Garcia

Maybe there are better players in some positions, but I think this would be a very good, balanced team.

    Naturally everyone in their prime

    ------------------Campos-----------

    Ramirez Perales--Suarez----Marquez-----Davino(96-97)

    Arellano-------Garcia Aspe--Torrado------Ramon Ramirez

    ----------------------Sanchez-------Hernandez

    D.T. El Vasco Aguirre

Forward Subs: Pecking order:Blanco, Luis Garcia, Borguetti

    Midfield: Bernal, Galindo, Luna,

    Defender:Joel Sanchez, Carmona,Gutierrez

    Goalkpeepers:Rios, Conejo

By far the hardest line to pick is the defence. The no-brainers are the two in the middle, but the left and right are really a brain racker. Yeah I know Ramirez Perales is out of place and you can replace him with anyone one of the other equally talented defenders.

Rios would of gotten my first choice vote if Campos hadn't been so internationally experienced and Rios' national potential not fully realized. Plus that Brazil romp of Mexico in Miami still sticks in my head.

Everyone is a good match, but To me one combo that should never see the light of day would be a Luis Garcia/Borguetti combo it would be two guys waiting in the box for the other guy to pass it.

LaPuente would of got the vote but those damn experiments of his. Mejia Baron you knew he wouldn't pull that sort of stuff but would be hard headed about moving anybody or trying something a little different. Aguirre is like the baby bear's porridge, just right.
