Guevara just got red carded in the DC game so there is a positive going into this crucial match.

1-1 draw. That's my prediction. Woly gets a late equalizer.

Probably not. He's no doubt in court soon. According to Merz he's definitely out with his Warzycha-induced achilles injury.

I'm not sure he's even earned a place in the side, did sweet fa against riverhounds? Poor, very poor.

If we can't win this one, we are sunk. IMO, this is "must-win" for playoff contention.

    Agreed.

No Queen Amadoguevara, no excuse for not winning a must win game.

    I sense a 2-1 Crew win.

This game is the last time this season we will play them. Since they are one of the teams we will have to leapfrog in order to make the playoffs (if KC stumbles and Metros get in instead of us, it does us no good) we simply MUST win.

Myself and 3 friends will be there to cheer on the Crew...leaving CBus at 2pm on Friday, Crew/Metros on Sunday, then heading up to Hartford for USA/T&T on Wed.

Hope to hang our Crew banners at Giants Stadium behind the goal on the right side of your television screen.

Win or lose, Columbus will be well-represented at both matches.

    GO CREW!

I think a 1-0 win is probably the most likely result.

    Lineup I'd like to see.

    Walker
    Fraser-Wingert-Marshall
    Elliot-Szetela
    Henderson-Vazquez-Martino
    Wolyniec-Sutton

Can't wait to see it. Did you get some practice in at the Dublin Irish Festival this past weekend?

Sadly no, decided on Saturday I was going to be a lout. Turned up at the bar when they opened at 11am and stayed there until Crew kicked off at 10.

That whole Guevara situation is more proof Bob Bradley is an idiot.

Let's look. You have a petulant diving little baby who by all reports doesn't really talk to the rest of the team so much. So Bradley makes him a Captain for the season. Supposedly that was gonna make him love life and lead the Metros to glory. Nope. Didn't happen. So now, as your team is fighting for their playoff life your suspended captain is telling the world he'd rather be in Honduras than NY. Well played, Bob. Well played.

Honestly, is their a coach who has fallen more than Bradley in MLS history. The guy clearly was winning in Chicago with smoke and mirrors. He's just terrible. If he has a job anywhere in the league next season the league is moving backwards.

    Crew 2
    Razov 1
Bob Bradley 0- as in the number of players he'll be the coach of when we win

Guevara is another Razov. When the crybaby doesn't get his way, he throws crap around until he gets his way with another team. He's an overpaid, egotistical jerk who thinks that he should always get his way.

Oh yeah, you can add Ruiz to that list, too.

PS -- Can't help to notice that Ives wrote that.

Please, please, PLEASE beat MetroScum this weekend. You have to beat them and continue the MLS coaching-standards reformation by getting Bradley fired. I don't care if you humiliate them worse than we did yesterday - it needs to be done for the good of the league.

Your team needs to keep the pressure on Metroscum and KC (we are moving up, up, up) and continue its revitalization.

If you let Bob beat you, he will probably stay in his job through the end of the season at least. Our great rivalry with the Metrostars is going to become irrelevant if we continue to dominate them so much and the way that Bob has put together the Frankenstars - they will never be able to compete with us on anywhere close to even terms until he is traded for a decent defensive midfielder. How about mini-Bradley and Magee for Szetela? Now that you have Vasquez, you don't need to be greedy. Do it for the good of the league!

Come on, leave pothead peter alone.

I was shocked that Bradley wasn't sacked after the Open Cup match. So much for being a super club.

Where is your ambition? This is a Metros team without:

    1) Guevara
    2) Mendes
    3) Ward
    4) Regan
    5) A single quality defender or defensive midfielder (sorry Goos)
    6) A coach with Mad Cow Disease/Jakob Kreuzfeldt - how else is one to explain how bad Bradley is tactically - they guy who plays a box midfield without fullbacks capable of providing width and without a ball-winning midfielder? Even if he was not responsible for any of the Fire's success - merely watching Armas, Marsch and Nowak for so many years should have filled him with some sense on how to build a midfield that is functional. No, he must have swiss cheese for brains.
    7) You are playing on crappy turf. Surely with guys like Sutton, Storey, Martino, etc you should be able to take advantage of the slow defense and fast surface.
