I'm more excited about our midfielders.

I have so many doubts about Knox and his mobility and speed.

And Glen I just don't seeing doing that much in MLS. He'll have his few flashes of brilliance once or twice in a season, and I think that's all he has in his gas tank.

I say this is Martino's game. If he comes out firing, Crew win. If Martino plays his "let's be invisible, and make the people at home wonder if I'm even on the field" game; Crew lose.

    So.. my prediction:

2-1 Crew. Yes, that's "Crew" and not "Houston"... Martino with a goal and an assist. Perhaps Vasquez with the other assist and goal by Henderson. Unless Henderson's winded by the 30th, the goal will be by Knox.

It feels like its been a month since I have watched this team, and perhaps thats why I am confident enough to pick a 3-1 victory.

Where do you keep coming up with this? Hendo is one of the more fit players in the league. Seriously - he's right up there with Hejduk in the "endurance engine" department.

I remember a few matches in a row.. Especially the last San Jose match, where the camera kept showing closeups of Henderson around the 20th minute, and he was breathing hard, yet hadn't really exerted himself.

Maybe there's another reason, but it's the conclusion I came to.

No, no, they take repentant sinners too.

You know, I used to think that you were the second coming of the North End Diva.

But as time goes on I realize you're the second coming of SoccerAndy5.

Does that mean I should look forward to my eventual ban from the Crew forums?

No, it means you're passing the point of enthusiastic into compulsive/obsessive. Fan and fanatic are related, but not synonyms.

    It's a sport... see - sportsmanship.

Perhaps he's a Maisonneuve-like player who always looks winded and pained, no matter what portion of the game.

Defense and midfield are works in progress, but near completion. At this point I'm beginning to doubt that our forwards could score in a knocking shop. We need a bottom feeding finisher who pounces on half chances like hungry dog. Cameron is big and strong, but lacks mobility.
