The Crew Union and Hudson Street Hooligans have teamed up to organize a bus trip to Washington DC. This trip to DC will be our 4th Supporters Bus Trip of the 2009 season (Toronto 05/02, Chicago 07/11, Chicago 09/20, DC 10/17) and our first to RFK Stadium in the nation's capital. Cost The cost of the trip is $65.00 and includes round trip transportation on the bus, a box lunch on the bus provided by Cafe del Mundo and a ticket to the match. A few more tidbits of information: Tickets are reserved in sections 435-437 (upper level corner) of RFK Stadium for ALL travelling Crew fans/supporters. I want to say it the lot closest to our section on the northwest corner of the stadium but I'll have to double check with the DC operations staff.
Last year, they had us in Lot 3. I would assume it'll be the same this season. CrewBeat, ZipSix, and I (and I assume you too, osubowler) will setup up shop a hour or so before the bus arrives so Crew fans have a landmark to look for (CrewBeat's giant checkered flag). '08 season tailgate:

Update: Right now we have 27 of the 55 spots on the bus filled so were right around half way there. We have also filled 8 of the 16 required hotel rooms as per our contract with the Courtyard Marriott. We have just gotten word that we will be receiving the requested funds from the Crew FO to cover the cost of our bus. Assuming we can fill the remaining bus spots and hotel rooms the cost of the trip will be reduced to $35.00. I have two tickets for you. If you order through the DC FO website thing it will put you in the same section but there is an extra $1.75 fee. Let me know which route you want to go
Roommate wanted. I've got the blessing from the wife but it all comes down to room. I just called and the guy told me there were only a few rooms left.
The group block on rooms expires at 5:00PM today so I would suggest reserving a room and then if need be you can cancel the room later. Otherwise you will not be able to lock in the $99.00 rate for the double double bed room. I'm running through the list now and checking to see who we have that might be in need of a roommate. I know crewfighter just got on the list and I'm not sure he has a roommate yet

So, I think it's safe to say we've officially surpassed our numbers from last season's trip. I count 18, minus the Hispanic England/Cowboys fan.
