Marisa has been around for awhile. She wasn’t my rep but was always cool to talk to. they must have done a big shuffle because I got a new rep today too.
They have also just added a "Panorama-Regular" and "Panorama-Ultra HD" which allows you to zoom in. The "Panorama-Ultra HD" zoom in is pretty sweet, everyone should check this out.
My favorite part of the Panorama HD picture is you can zoom in and see the MAPFRE light towers in the distance. It seems to tie the two stadiums together. Hopefully they update the still photos fairly regularly. It’s nice to zoom in on certain locations for better clarity. Much appreciated updates to the webcams!
Got a call from my new rep today--they will be sending out email "soon" to set up a time for a virtual new stadium experience. I'm expecting it this week for us longer term FST holders--but I'll also note that was not promised. The change was partly to "balance the load" as I surmised--he noted that my former rep is still around. We shall see how this works. They hope to open the Experience Center at some point this summer but wanted the first experience to be virtual, so that all fans are on the same page, as not everyone could go to the center at this point if they are in a risk group (as is true for Mrs KG and I, for example).
I will go through the virtual experience and look at all the options but there is little to no chance I will be getting seats outside the Nordecke. Still looking forward to seeing what they have put together.
Got my call today. Adam was surprised when I didn't have any questions and seemed like he didn't really know what to say. So, I made it easy for him and told him "just let me know how much I have to tell the wife we're paying for equivalent tickets next year and then be prepared to take my card number." He laughed, said ok, and that was pretty much that.
The state might cut its contribution to the stadium. https://www.dispatch.com/news/20200...s-cutting-state-share-of-crew-stadium-project
Wonder if the same is true for Cincy.... Edit: Yep--but not as much money.... https://www.cincinnati.com/story/ne...ati-stadium-limbo-ohio-statehouse/5273513002/
I was wondering if those numbers represented the total approved share for each. I believe it is for the Crew but don't know about Cincy.
Meanwhile at Mapfre, I just took these pictures. I started north of where the tent was, drove along near the tracks and ended up near the Megatailgate area.
Sorry if I'm just being dumb (there's precedent for that sort of thing), but can you share a link? I have no idea where to find it.
It's just Krypto walking around Mapfre, snapping pictures, and uploading them to BigSoccer every few minutes...
It's at the same link as Downtown stadium, you just get a choice of cameras now: https://www.columbuscrewsc.com/construction-cam
