The Big Texan Steakhouse is in Amarillo. If you can eat it, they'll give you a 72-oz steak absolutely free. Of course, it also includes a salad, baked potato and shrimp cocktail. Spoiler alert: That's beef. No fat, gristle or other unedibles. It's been done by many. I once heard someone did it twice.
I have a buddy who could do it. Saw him do a 32 oz plus two helpings of a steak salad, and could have eaten more. But, of course, is the 72 oz one a steak or a filet....
I once ate over 200 shrimp(I think the final number was 207) at Red Lobster's all-you-can-eat shrimp fest. It's a miracle I didn't get mercury poisoning.
