AR and TR start v. AV in a few minutes. Peacock in US, I think.

He’s an offensive force. And he’s good enough on defense. I think he moved up this summer.

    He's an outstanding defender, actually.

Meaningless win at Man U for the relegation-bound Cottagers. @Suyuntuy

AR cleared the ball off the line with his head to prevent a sure goal and nearly had an assist into Muniz who hit the post. Great game again, and great mentality from Fulham for once. United were woeful.

Gorgeous pass. Jedi has to be one of the better LBs out there right now.

How is the US has suddenly got two of the better attacking LB's in the top 6-7 leagues? lol. AR having an amazing season. Just 2 seasons ago he was in the Champs. Wonder what his career would look like had the Milan transfer not fallen through. Very pleased for middleaged Jedi.

So most open-play assists of any defender in the PL and more interceptions than anyone playing anywhere in any of the top 5 leagues.

    Yeah, he's alright I guess.

Robinson was playing out of his mind today against Tottenham. Really excellent performance in a 3-0 win over Spurs.

How unambitious. He’s one of the best left backs in the EPL. Why would he stay at a club, while dear to me, with such limited potential?

Because it’s the best club in the world. At least when you remove all the better ones. Perhaps he will believe that another year to develop will help him. Also he signed a new deal and so he will be very expensive. Like Jóao, the club might not let him go easily.

Lots of “maybes”, but I think he’s likely to move up. He’s just so good right now, and still very young. Happy for him, sad for Fulham. He’s exactly what the team needs this year- speed on the flanks and attacking interplay on the ground. Jedi and Mitro were not the best pairing. Fulham’s revamped offense suits Antonee so much more.

Wonder if that rumored Liverpool interest is still there.

I love me some Jedi, but his close control is not excellent. He would not fit into every top team.

Eh maybe not too sad for Fulham, they will able to get more than one player for the money they will get for Jedi. In fact they might be quite chuffed at the prospect of entertaining multiple offers from the very top teams. I don't think he is necessarily in some kind of purple patch, merely a natural progression of what many thought he had the potential to become.

So, made my first visit to the Cottage yesterday. First,I can now see why it’s frequently cited as a “must do” by UK (non-Fulham) fans. While a buddy on the Riverside said it was amazing and new and spacious, the old side (Stevenage side) compares to my smallish town Tennessee high school stadium. The seats are 100 years old. You can’t take beer to your seats (illegal to be in sight of the field while possession of alcohol) so everyone crams under this ancient stand to drink and it’s a journey back into the past. It’s honestly amazing. Seriously - just incredible (unless you are claustrophobic). And yes, you need to be a bit skinny to fit through the gates into the stands.

Second- I had good seats and a close view of Jedi in the first half. He started a little shaky- one bad pass out of the back and he got caught once or twice trying to dribble out of the back. But Leno and Bassey kept coming to him and he settled down to have an amazing game. Spurs could do nothing down his side all night. I could see Spurs players look off their right side frequently as they saw Jedi in coverage. That doesn’t show up on TV. And he was a wrecking ball going forward. He’s incredible to watch in person.

While Muniz had the brace (and such goals- great touch and then pure guts to just want the second one more than the center back), the Fulham boards were flooded with Robinson threads (seriously, one rando dug up multiple years old “Robinson just isn’t good enough” threads just to troll, weird) and there’s a lively discussion now promoting Robinson as player of the season. He’s hands-down the MOTM for them- and that’s despite a brace of high quality goals from Muniz.

    Jedi is damn good.
