Team struggled to create chances (and really struggled to convert on the ones they did create), BUT with Palhinha and Ream back on the field the defense was stout. Spurs' only goal came when Tete was off in the locker room trying to replace his shoe (which busted mid-game). Of course Fulham would not have replacements ready on the sideline . . . so Fulhamish.

Hopefully he's just a backup. We are very low on EPL starters this year...

Being on loan, I suspect a backup and cover. Fulham are going to struggle to create chances, but hopefully they have enough depth in defense now that, so long as Joao is playing they can keep the GA down to a reasonable level. Not going to be as fun a year I don’t think.

Yep. Was screamingly obvious last week when Jedi wasn't on the field for the team. They missed his speed - allows him to participate more deeply in the offense while still covering for Ream's lack of foot speed.

Surprisingly Jedi subs on in the 69th minute of a League Cup match against Norwich. Ream bench, Sargent still hurt. Fulham lead 2-1.

Fulham win, Ream a late game sub. 2nd Fulham goal and Norwich goal scored after AR comes on for Frodo.

Not terribly surprising. These were Ballo-Toure's first minutes since last season (he didn't feature at all for Milan in preseason before moving to Fulham on deadline day) so it's understandable he wasn't ready to go a full 90.

Jedi and Ream start, trying to avoid an upset against Chelsea today.

Ream with an awful mistake and Jedi has not been good either. Fulham look toothless on O w/o Mitra... they need a legit striker so bad. But they generally play better than this. That was an embarrassing 1st half. Down 2-0.

hopefully this isn't a situation where Ream is already on the downhill but it takes a few years to blow up

Ream was shockingly bad today. Antonee came into his own ion the second half when FFC decided to attack Chelsea rather than just pass the ball around pointlessly a lot. FFC were so much fun last season, but all of the fun is gone now.

I thought Jedi was solid today. Very active going forward in the second half. No comment on Ream.

    Fulham definitely lack attacking ideas.

Fulham are blessed this year with four historically bad teams in the EPL. I don’t think they will finish much higher. They have serious problems to fix by next season, as Palhinha will likely be gone then as well.

Was pretty poor to start, got a bit better in the 2nd but still erratic, brilliant in the last few as he clears a sure goal off the line with a moving backward, heading upward, fall in the goal kind of save.

Fulham lucky to get the point. They were pretty soft on D till late in the game. Gave a lot of possession and couldn't hold the ball. Need more players who can string passes.
