Robinson played 90 minutes and earned a yellow card in a 1-0 win for Fulham over Brighton. Fulham will finish the weekend 6th in the Premier League.

Clearly it's more fun to complain about Leeds!

Fulham did the "just win" thing. Looked like they were barely hanging on for much of the game, allowing too many chances, and then they got a goal late on a counter. Fulham just found a way to win. Good for them, and Ream, and Robinson

Mitro is hurt and, oddly, Silva put BDR in as a false 9 instead of just swapping in Vinicius. I thought the tactic switch would play to Robinson’s strengths. The team switched from high crosses into the box, to needing penetrating, runs into the box and interplay on the ground. Based on my observation of Jedi, with the USA, that seems to play to his strengths.

However, he really looked bad. Everything he tried didn’t work, and he lost the ball far too easily, and appeared to always be out of position on offense. Halfway through the second half, they swapped in Vinicius and Jedi returned to form.

I will say that his defense never suffered. He played excellent defense all day long. I just thought he might have a very good game on offense, and we got exactly the opposite.

Sounds like Fulham is trying to fend off the competition:

He's worth ten times that (but I've somehow misplaced my checkbook, so we'll let the market decide).

Note that Fulham (6th!) host Wolves (15th) tomorrow in the EPL's featured Friday match.

Join me at Courtyard Hooligans here in Charlotte NC. I might buy a round or two if Fulham score early.

He shouldn’t go Newscastle. But Man. City, yes.

It’s going to be a party. Me and, well, probably just me (and whoever is working the bar). I suspect a few random soccer fans will show up just because it’s Friday. We will see.

Why not go to Newcastle? They may finish in the top 4 and have the sort of financial backing where the big 6 is probably going to become the big 7. And Man City has some potential problems in their future.

Jedi has had a great season... but he got roasted on the last Brentford goal which ended up being the game-winner. Overall I thought Fulham was clearly the better side for the majority of the match.... but a lucky deflected goal, a soft PK and Jedi's lapse on D does them in.

I turned this one off early once they went down 2-0. Fulham were no match at all for Arsenal. Jedi largely to blame for the 2nd goal. Also had an own-goal removed due to offsides. Did not see the 3rd goal. Has not been the best two games for Jedi.

Yes, he looked poor against the (checks notes) ... team leading the best league in the world.

    39' Inches over from Jedi!

Moments after @TosinAdarabioyo's piledriver is blocked, @Antonee_Jed sends a scorching effort just off-target.

    0-1 #FULWHU

    Trailing 1-0 at the half.
