I have heard this a lot and I don't understand. As an adult, I have always shopped one a week or less. Why is this not possible?
Yup. For a long time a few decades ago scientists disected foods and made the assumption what is in it inevitably ends in your body. Cholesterol is bad, so food with alot of it is bad. They failed to investigate the link "does it end up as cholesterol in your blood when you eat eggs". When they finally stopped sucking their thumbs, but did real research ut turned out their assumptions were wrong. Alot of "logical" assumptions about food containing certain components and their effects in the body turned out to be false after real research was done.
The Robusta coffee has less content of harmfull fats than the expensive Arabica ones. Add to that the Robusta is used in filtration coffee that additionally extracts harmfull components in contrast to the way the expensive Arabica coffee is used, in expresso etc. machines without filtration. So old fashioned coffee making is the healthier way to go.
Hear hear: I’m not the most healthy eater but I’m not so bad, yet my cholesterol levels are always out of wack, with the bad always being high and the good always being low. So less alcohol and carbs seem the way to go for me, but still difficult to get good results. Regarding caffeine, I’ve also had to cut on it due to recent health problems, so yeah, there can be too much coffee.
A big factor in reducing bad levels of certain components is simply walking about an hour or 5 km a day. That's far more important than cutting the nice things in life. However excessive consumption is always bad. A good thing too is to give your body the impression bad times (regarding food supply) is coming. It makes your body go burning up reserves that are actually bad to have in the first place. You can achieve that by restricting the time your body gets food at all. You eat during a time slot of less than 8 hours and then donot consume anything but water for 16 hours or more. You donot have to cut back on a normal calory intake with that.
A way to reduce your coffee intake is to switch to kopi luwak, the real stuff, not what they sell in the internet. It's so expensive you don't dare to drink more than a cup a week.
I dunno...Grammama drank lottsa coffee, ate donuts, twinkies, cheesecake, and sausages. That is 5 km x 5...she went out for a walk 2 days ago and now we don't know where the hell she is!
Hmmm, okay. Still, I'm cautious because I have my grandfather's talent at collecting cholesterol, even if I was my high school playing weight.
Yes and no. Definitely physical activity is great and intermittent fasting can also help, but I have always have that problem since when I was young and active. Furthermore, my brother who was also very active and into more cardio impacting activities have had the same problems since very young. So genetics play a big role too.

Florida: COVID-19 Patients Are 'Begging' to Be Vaccinated, Nurse Says (businessinsider.com) Define irony... Smh
Not irony - dumbassfukkery. Again, not a single on of them are deserving of anyone's thoughts or prayers.
Even though we are short on vaccines and way behind on vaccinating people in high risk situations we managed to scrape up enough to vaccinate the Olympic team. Says something about our priorities.
