Ulster County NY has performed 50,000 coronavirus tests; infection rate at 0.2 percent. And 2 of them were me.
Kodak will have a vaccine in an instant...matic. (Hey, what the hell does the defensive midfielder for ManU have to do with the conversation?). A pun "two-fer" or just a "snap" decision, I guess. Edit: @roby beat me to it. Well, I guess I have to go a dark room and develop a better pun.
This is actually something that has been known for a long time, as the article details. There is a difference between the illness starting at a thousand points of infection in the body and a million points. The body knows there is an infection by chemical triggers, and the severity of the response is proportional to the signals. This is actually a way that bacterial infections are smarter than viruses - viruses just go as hard as they can all the time and if that means they get wiped out before provoking a big response, too bad. Disease bacteria will actually curtail their own reproduction in the body, being low key until the moment they think they have enough and then they start reproduction overdrive. They want to make sure you are coughing and sneezing and dripping, which are all things caused by the immune system in high gear.
I don't know if something nefarious is going on. But I do think that we should wait a while before before being convinced what the current coronavirus numbers are. We hit the peak right at the moment the numbers started going straight to the White House and not the CDC. A coincidence like that should make one at least a little cautious.
It's almost as if these disinfo efforts are coordinated .... 1288189706233155584 is not a valid tweet id
I know what it is. I made the suggestion that the thread be titled American Exceptionalism. I didn't get your twist on it.
Two words: Living Wage These employers crying about people not coming back to work need to consider why they should feel compelled to risk their lives for them......
It just means that in general we just decided to accept the virus instead of putting up a plan and finding ways to contain it .
The nutty doctors are part of a group that was formed less than 2 weeks ago. But the group behind THAT group is a Tea Party group. Maybe the woman's reference to witches was a deep cut callback to Christine O'Donnell.
