Not to say I told you so but..... did you really think that he would seriously come to MLS for 200K, and reject other major Euro clubs offers (minimum double what MLS was offering)???
I'm happy he's not coming, for several reasons: 1. I'd rather improve our defense through youth, preferably not expensive SIs. (Perhaps Akwari is a step in that direction?) 2. I'm also much happier knowing that come the Milan Derby on Nov. 24th, the Inter forwards get to face the spry 39 year old.
