It`s offical Miller has signed for Rosenborg

Rosenborg payed about 640K dollars for the player and depending on how he does for Rosenborg the transfer fee migth be upward to about 1.8 million dollars

He has signed for 3 years.

Miller was signed after a tips from former Rosenborg defender Erik Hoftun. Hoftun has been playing with Miller in Bodø for the last 2 years and is now part of Rosenborgs managment.
Hoftun says that Miller is a very profesional and athletic player with great potensial.
Bodø fans say that Miller is strong in the offensive part of the game but that he needs to work on his defensive skills.

Most of what i just wrote is taken from diffrent papers and the don`t have a english translation but here is what the english rbk pages say.

    http://www.rbk.no/english/

Here is anoter link to fan made english supporter pages for Rosenborg

    http://www.rosenborg.info/english/

    English forum about Rosenborg

    http://www.rosenborg.info/forum/viewforum.php?f=7

Rosenborg is rather weak at left back and i woude say Miller has a good shot at getting a lot of time on the field. He main rival for the posison will be Andreas Nordvik norwegian U21 defender.

    :)

It is players like him (And "El Mambo") that gives me hope for the future.

Why does Medford still insist on calling the old guard when we have other talents is a question that eludes me....

    VAMOS TICOS!!! AL 2010!!!

Damn that sucks...hope u guys at least make the UEFA Cup and win the next season.

I haven't seen Miller play since his last friendly with the national team one year ago. He did not play well at all but he was barely starting his pre-season with Bodo/Glimt so he wasn't in game shape. But before that he was solid in his games with the national team, youth team, and club Cartagines. In my opinion he's a solid defender and able to attack very well with his length and speed. He must've been doing very well with Bodo'Glimt in these past 2 years if Norwegian giants Rosenborg signed him for 3 seasons.

Keep updating us on our " Costa Ricans abroad" thread. Maybe now Medford will consider him for the qualifiers against Grenada this summer.

Re: official REBUILDING Process for COSTA RICA thread

Medford has only called up 3 abroad players for the game against Peru...

    Cristian Bolanos (OB Odense, Denmark)
    Randall Azofeifa (KAA Gent, Belgium)
    Junior Diaz (Wisla Krakow, Poland)

Don't understand why he didnt call up the rest of the abroad players since this will most likely be our last friendly before the qualifiers

It should be obvious, he plans on using a domestic squad(re his Saprissista buddies.) I've never been nervous going into the qualifiers, but this time around is very different.

Re: official REBUILDING Process for COSTA RICA thread

I understand why Saprissa is our base...they are clearly the best team right now and deserve to have the most players...but i dont think most of them should be starters. Only Badilla, Cordero (not too sure but i'll leave him for now) Centeno are guaranteed starters....Alonso, Alpizar, Borges, Puppy, and Barrantes would be great subs.

    Gonzalo Segares >>>> Jervis Drummond
Roy Myrie or Harold Wallace >>>>> Ricardo Harris
Roy Miller, Carlos Castro, or Leo Gonzalez >>>> Junior Diaz
Victor Nunez, Andy Furtado, Andy Herron, Alvaro Saborio and
    Froylan Ledezma >>>> Ronald Gomez

Maybe after today Medford will be sacked and Rodrigo Kenton will take his place and this will be his starting 11 :D:cool:

    Ricardo Gonzalez
    Gabriel Badilla
    Victor Cordero (Montero or Umana)
    Gonzalo Segares
    Roy Myrie
    Roy Miller
    Randall Azofeifa
    Walter Centeno
    Bryan Ruiz
    Victor Nunez
    Froylan Ledezma
