Corrales to Dorados; Suarez to somewhere in Mexico/Osasuna?

According to this Soccer America report, both Ramiro Corrales and Ryan Suarez are out of contract and have interest/trials abroad.

    http://www.socceramerica.com/article.asp?Art_ID=562135325

SA claims Corrales has a trial lined up with Dorados, a first division team and Suarez has a trial lined up with an unnamed Mexican team and with Osasuna in Spain.

What Mexican teams are hurting for defense and would be interested in Suarez?

Don't they have those odd post-inter/season drafts in Mexico?

FWIW, Suarez has the athleticism to become a quality player ... he just seems to be really stupid to do so.

But I am surprised that the Mexican league doesn't show a greater interest in Yanks, who work very very cheap in a reversal of the perceived immigration the other way. Maybe this will change with the ChivasUSA coming to America and giving Mexican team GMs a point of reference to their talent.

If 2-0 didn't teach them, nothing will.

But on topic, Suarez seems to have had his promise turn sour and maybe a change of venue would help him get it back.

And wherever Corrales goes, I hope it is as far away from the USNT as possible. :p

Here's an article from the Spanish sports daily, AS, that says Aguirre is looking for inexpensive reinforcements. Torrado is the only name speculated upon.

Let's hope their trials don't go Up In Smoke.

Do you think they might storm the field and beat him to death if he came out wearing the headgear in a MFL game?

I think in Mexico he'd be paid enough that he wouldn't have to pimp the headgear to make extra jack.

Wow, he was getting paid for that?

At least Ross Paule had a dozen concussions.

I don't know if you could pay me enough money to keep from looking like a (p)ussy.

P.S. if he was 6 in taller he would be a perfect fit for todays NBA....a selfish, arrogant pain in the arse....

P.P.S. I know what one looks like...I played with and against a few....within two years he will be but a forgotten memory....a legend in his own living room..
