Exclusions: JC, probably Luca starting Pazzini, give him a break? idk Forlan, injury to the thigh Samuel, same as Pazzini Coutinho, back pain I hope our young players get plenty of action vs a team that has been scoring/conceded a lot of goals lately Personally I care more about keeping this good form vs actually winning this competition, getting CL qualification is the utmost importance hence why we will be probably fielding our subs/reserve players if we win we face Napoli in the next round feel free to talk about other coppa games here

halftime 1-0 a lot of the subs and reserve are playing well, Poli, Obi, Frog and Faraoni especially both dutchmen up top are not having their best game but they haven't had a competitive game in quite some time as for the game, we've had better chances and are content in just counter attacking we've kept genoa at bay for the most part
dayuuummm that goal was like something out of a PES game maicon from the outside to poli who fist touches it to obi who loops it over the defender onto poli's feet and nails it definitely going to get highlights later on
castaignos out zarate in castaignos didn't have a bad game, zarate hoping to show something worthy of staying with us
final Inter 2-1 Genoa very good performance from a lot of our subs etc., next coppa game vs napoli in the quarterfinals
I wonder how seriously we are going to take it though, we got lazio on sunday so Im guessing a mix squad for next wednesday when we face you guys a good match up though
Well according to what Ranieri said today we are going to take it very seriously and want to go all the way to the end, not a lot of back ups included in the squad list compared to last time Goalkeepers: 1 Julio Cesar, 12 Luca Castellazzi, 21 Paolo Orlandoni; Defenders: 2 Ivan Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Lucio, 13 Maicon, 23 Andrea Ranocchia, 25 Walter Samuel, 26 Cristian Chivu, 37 Davide Faraoni; Midfielders: 8 Thiago Motta, 10 Wesley Sneijder, 11 Ricardo Alvarez, 18 Andrea Poli, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 20 Joel Obi; Forwards: 7 Giampaolo Pazzini, 22 Diego Milito, 28 Mauro Zarate, 30 Luc Castaignos. Nagatomo is out with a foot injury, forlan and dejan and coutinho are still out
Lucio& Pazzini out with flu squad down to 19, it will be interesting to see if ranieri starts with the same backline of the last coppa game and if he is putting in Samuel instead of Frog or Cordoba
only watched part of the second half, apparently we didn't play the first, napoli scored then we started to play we had a couple of chances to equalize actually, alvarez shooting straight onto the keeper being the main one speaking of which he was a bit disappointing today, tried to hard to dribble and still isn't on the same wavelength regardless we relinquish our coppa crown, but the positives are being able to focus more on the league and CL final: Napoli 2-0 Inter
each team played a good half, Im worried about how we are going to face you in league but good game nonetheless Ill be rooting for ya, as well as lazio
its games like that that make one feel all warm and fuzzy to be a supporter, first half vs hellas was tame, second half we started to come at verona and managed to score twice, once with cassano and a deflection guarin goal strama used all 3 subs then castellazi gets injured, who else but palacio to step up the crowd really got behind palacio and he seemed to enjoy it, verona almost got 1 back but it was straight at him, 15 mins to go plus added time and we managed to stay at 2-0 the subs and reserve really showed what they can do especially duncan, a young edgar davids covering the whole field, ricky was tame but later improved the rest where pretty good, but what a night for inter
I went to the match last night after finding out there were plenty of tickets still available. After getting out of the Lotto Metro stop, I immediately saw the massive thick fog that had descended over the area. Somehow, I made it to the stadium even though I had no idea where I was going and couldn't see a thing. After buying a ticket (Anello Blu, with my name printed on it after showing my passport!), I went to head in, but thanks to my stupidity, and the chaos that was the security situation, I had to walk all the way around the hippodrome and some other things, another 25 minute walk, just to get to my ingresso. And even then, no one was let into the Blu end anyways, so I sat in the Orange seats. I can't complain about that! Was amazed that the game started on time because of the fog. I couldn't see all the way across the field, but yet by halftime the entire field was in view and the fog was rising. Was disappointed that the San Siro didn't seem to have any concession stands behind the seats, just bathrooms, as I got hungry during the match (grabbed a panino afterwards, thankfully!) The Hellas Fans were the man of the match, aside from Cassano of course. It was clear that it was a reserve side out of form for Inter, cause there was little to no chemistry during the first half, and it looked like Hellas would have a great chance to win. Luckily for Inter, they got 2 "lucky" goals (you have to work hard for your luck and take advantage of it, of course). Also best moment of the game was Palacio going in goal. The noise from the Hellas fans+flares+inter fans had my adrenaline going for a while. Fun stuff, would love to go to another match in the future, preferably in the day so I can see where I am going, and preferably once the new San Siro metro stop is finished. Solo Inter!
