Perhaps if Conte let them play in attack instead of helping on defense all game they'd actually get something done.

Conte starting to look like a loser lately. Whining like a bitch after every game. I thought we were supposed to be above that shit. Apparently not.

They asked him about the Ref,what do you expect him to say? to thank the refs for their mistakes? That's the way you should speak to Italian journalists and media.

"They're doing the best they can. They don't make a fraction as many mistakes as our players do."

Like Falc says, wouldn't matter if we had Jovetic and Cavani out there. It's not the quality or skill of the striker that matter. It's how much defending he can do.

A striker's number job, first and foremost, is to score, period. No one is ever convincing me otherwise of that.

Our guys simply do not do that. How some don't see this as a weakness is just baffling to me! I mean this is part of the fundamentals of the game we're talking now.

Exactly. How not everyone agree with this.. I can't understand it. We have some seriously dumb people on this board.

Which goes to Conte and his tactics. We would have the ball in Lazio's half and not a single striker in the penalty area. Vucinic was often deep as if playing as a midfielder. You can bring a Jovetic or Cavani but if Conte has them playing the same style, it is not going to matter.

So now Conte, who resurrected this team from its lowest depths and went undefeated last season, is to blame for the strikers inability to put the ball in the net?

Not now. It has been the case since last season. The style of this team is not conducive for a striker to be a top goal scorer. How often were our strikers in position to get a chance?

This philosophy of relying on the rest of our team to score goals rather than having the strikers score is plain stupid.

When people at Juve say what they think they get banned.

Fuck the press and fuck the FIGC.

They are out of control and are even able to control the leagues decision making. Conte is a genius for doing this.

Missed the game last night and just saw the highlights. Holy shit, how could Claudio Marchisio miss such a chance? :geek: Simply incredible! And how can you concede late from a corner kick again ... just seconds after the injury time equalizer? Somehow, the team is lacking the killer instict these days.

Now I hope for Roma (and my former BMG guy Michael Bradley) to win it.
