Willian waited too long to make that pass. That was so damn easy.

Same thing as the Olympics. First two games poor but the 3rd game we explode.

Early goals from corner and accident helped. Peru got completely deflated after the 2nd goal. Everton has been an improvement, but the team didn't really play tha different than before. Just better execution against a deflated opponent IMO. Tactically we are doing much of the same.

GJ is gonna be in trouble if he can't "desencantar" without Neymar on his back.

Surprisingly good win, but yeah I think the second gol in that gk screw up was critical in establishing a goleada.

Yes, the reasons for the performance are many. However, without getting into the reasons, it was just extremely satisfying to watch. The passing and combination play, the skills and technique on display, the domination, the golazos, the goalkeeper and defense not having to do anything for almost the whole match, everything was like vintage Brazil. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

Jesus is playing better than he was at the World Cup but no end product. Firmino has the end product though but not the performance.

Who is Neymar ? Does anybody know him ? We are better without him.

I wouldn’t go to that extreme. Brazil is better when we play quickly. Neymar tendency to hold on to the ball for far too long is a negative but we didn’t look good in the first two games without him so we can’t say for sure based on the Peru games.

I will say if Brazil win this tournament. I do expect comments like that.

Well, that was a great display. The Casemiro yellow and suspension for the quarterfinals does remind me of a previous situation, but this is quite different. Peru, Paraguay, or Japan? Paraguay will park the bus and Peru will likely do the same to avoid losing again - although I think Peru being the opponent is unlikely.

I'd like to see Japan. They do not play dirty, are fast, and possess good technique.

Pretty dreadful performance. But then again, they haven't produced a decent GK in many years.

Wrong. Gallese is possibly the best Peruvian born goalkeeper in our history. He's been excellent since implemented into the team and the other day was the first truly awful game he's played for us.

He's obviously not world class, but he's more than won the "decent" tag a long time ago.
