No Pinto, BArrera or hector Moreno..but other than that..Pretty good..Good thing he didnt call Esquivel or Jagger or Isamel
I just hope that he doesn't start Osorio on the right. I hope he either plays with Efrain or Rojas (hell, Gringo Castro would be a better choice than Osorio)
All of those are good exceptions besides Pinto. So much for Huerta and Suttclife saying they had insider information that Conejo was going to be the starter.
So it looks like Torrado and Israel in the middle. That's probably the best realistic combination at the moment. Fausto probably deserved a call up, but he's too short against the US, so it makes sense he didn't call him up. It's good to see Efrain get the call up.
Oh, and great to see no Osvaldo or Conejo. I'm glad El Vasco looks to be taking this shit seriously now. No Vuoso is a little suprising, actually. Hopefully, Guishe can be in better shape in two weeks, because I really don't want to see Sabah against the Nats. Guishe is experienced playing against bigger guys and is a much better finisher than Sabah. Barring injury, it looks like we're finally going to see Vela, Gio, Guardado, and Nery playing together at some point. Should be fun to watch.
I really love this list! no pavel, arce, oswald and CONEJO!!. I guess he figured out that that experiment failed! Could have done without medina tho
FCK YEAAA I just saw the list on medio tiempo, I would have like the inclusion of Pablo Barrera but its still a very strong call up!
So Aguirre's Depth Chart GK Memo Ochoa (24 years old) GK Jesus Corona (28 years old) RB Ricardo Osorio (29 years old) RB Efrain Juarez (21 years old) RB Gringo Castro (28 years old) CB Rafa Marquez (30 years old) CB Jonny Magallon (27 years old) CB Aaron Galindo (27 years old) LB Carlos Salcido (29 years old) LB Oscar Rojas (27 years old) RM Giovani dos Santos (20 years old) RM Alberto Medina (26 years old) CM Gerardo Torrado (30 years old) CM Israel Castro (28 years old) CM Cuauhtemoc Blanco (36 years old) LM Andres Guardado (22 years old) LM Carlos Vela (20 years old) S Guille Franco (32 years old) S Nery Castillo (25 years old) S Miguel Sabah (29 years old)
I'd rather have Arce over Medina....I don't know how many chances Medina has got and he's effed them all up. That's pretty much the only call up that I'm not happy with at all....Sabah is another one I'm not too happy with but he probably won't play, so that's ok.
I'm a sad panda about the no Pinto. He may be short, but I didn't see his size ever be an issue during the Gold Cup. He knows how to get rid of the ball before he ever has to fight it out, and he has speed! He really does! Speed will be the biggest factor for us in stopping US counters. Salcido, Osorio, Rojas, Marquez, Magallon, all lack speed. swear. and Oscar Rojas? who's dik is he sucking that's letting him get a callup? So many decent defenders in Mexico, why does one from one of the sorriest teams in the last two seasons get any credit? We will win on the 12th. It is a fact. the cock crowed twice, not thrice. 1st crow: Salcido 2nd crow: Osorio...... and the third crow PARDO...... was avoided. Gracias a Dios y a la virgencita de Guadalupe.
Actually, I think at the moment, his depth chart looks like this: -------------------------------Memo/Crona--------------------------- Rojas/Efrain/Gringo/Osorio -----Rafa/Magallon/Galindo------Salcido/Rojas Gio/Efrain/Medina-----------Torrado/Castro-------Guardado/Vela/Medina -----------------------------Cuau/Gio/Nery--------------------------- ------------------------------Guille/Sabah---------------------------- Looking at it, I am very suprised he didn't call a 3rd contencion. If either Torrado or Castro get hurt, I don't see anyone he could play there (Efrain maybe?)
im fist pumping right now thank god conejo wasnt on the list to worry about who would start. and thank god Rafa Marquez is on the list, i was getting worried that he might not be called. thanks for not ********ing up aguirre
