Yeah, I got his e-mail about the tickets too...and the news. Well, as somebody that's married for over 15 years (same woman ), all I've got to say is.............. ...it's sooooooooo much cheaper to keep 'em . Seriously though, congrats.

My old man and 'me mum' are just coming up to their diamond wedding... think about THAT! - whippersnappers! 'Me mum' says she hasn't even had time off for good behaviour.
Congrats Eddie! (Although I didn't get an email about that or the tickets. ) Can't offer any advice or that sort of thing, since I remain quite single. Which, given some of my posts on BS, is a giant mystery.

Thanks everyone. I've been in Pittsburgh since Saturday morning visting my new in-laws and this was by first opportunity to get on the web. My flight back to Philly leaves in an hour and a half. It's true, on Thursday evening I proposed on the pier in Hoboken with roses, strawberries and champagne. It was a very much spur of the moment thing. We've been dating 3 years, I knew for awhile I wanted to marry her so it was time. This weekend we decided the wedding will be next Aug 19 here in Pittsburgh (her Pop's is paying, least I could do is have it here). I took pics after the big moment and will post them when I get home and get a chance to pull them off my camera. For those of you at the games in 3 weeks, be sure to say hello and let me know if you want to get together. You my friend should check the posts about the NY/US Blues and also the one about the tour. It was mentioned many times that you could get tickets with the groups through me. I can't take blame for this one! I just figured that you wanted to not sit with the groups for some reason. I thought it was weird that you didn't ask but I also know how much you hate Jersey so figured you wouldn't come out to the swamp.
