I also boo'd after the match. And yelled a few choice things at Bendik and Porter.

 

The meltdown on Facebook is in full effect. Can we flip the bird? Should we be happy just to be able to buy ticket?

It's a good thing it's a new generation of fans since the Nee era. Pink slips, gigantic banners, singing about how much we stunk? Oh, and that doesn't even touch upon driving to other MLS cities to see better soccer.

I fell asleep it was 1-1 apparently i didn’t miss anything good . Hopefully USA beats Mexico and Room & Diaz start vrs Orlando with Trapp and Zardes next weekend . ( Mensah might be gone for awhile longer ) am i missing someone else ?

There have been lots of lows- Urso for example - but I really cant recall performances consistently this putrid.

My son loved the fireworks. Also, I’ve not noticed Dee Haslam being there for the last month. She was at every game up until then.

 

The Crew now stands only three points ahead of FCC. Cincy has scored more goals than the Crew.

When was the last match we scored more than 1 goal and was it from the run of play

 

Riddle me a riddle: how many of our players would walk into the starting 11 at say LAFC, LA, NYRB, Philly..if you say anyone at all you’re lying to yourself

 

May 8 vs the Galaxy. Three goals, I believe all from the run of play.

 

Jimmy was there and, if the story is correct, was having a heated discussion with the officials after the game.

Our ownership is engaged.

 

Not much of a riddle: zero. I mean, duh.

Now, if you look at the total roster of players - many of whom aren't available for various reasons - you could make the case for a few players: Valenzuela, Trapp, Zardes, maybe Mensah. Maybe Room will be that kind of player, but of course Steffen certainly was.

Let's hope as Jimmy comes to understand the game better he directs his ire towards more appropriate targets.

 

Dee was there last night. Got a report that she was seem walking into a party suite. I'm pretty certain she's not missed a home game yet. Poor, gal.

 

Regarding the game. Here are my thoughts.

 

So Dee Haslam has attended more games in four months than Dickface McTwochins attended in five years?

 

Dee and Jimmy were there but didn’t show outside the suite until later in the game. They are usually out at the start of the game. I also shook the good Doctor’s hand last night. I’ve seen them at every home game (but I did miss the last game though).

 

Arguments could be made for maybe about four or five different years. You could look at pure stats on WLD. But I prefer the context of the situation and certainly the coach in charge.

 

This is probably the low point of the season. Next week we'll have Trapp and Zardes back plus likely Romario Williams, Diaz, and Room. Maybe Accam too. The week after that we might have Mensah for Montreal.

I thought it was pretty bush league of Porter to single out Crognale for so much criticism post game as opposed to say Guzman.
