I wish someone would have posted a list of goal scorers so we could see where Own Goal would rank on the team scoring list if he does bag two this weekend...
But we've got that new DP forward!!! He's the best American forward...in MLS. Help us, Bez. You're all we have.
I think this is going to be a wacky, weird, this-only-happens-in-MLS 5-4 shootout. Controversial calls, VARs, reds, handbags, own goals — the works. Why? Because every single thing we know about these two teams indicates this game is going to be horrible, and that’s usually when the surprises happen.
Want the best evidence the Crew is in a horrible losing streak? This thread. Even the hardcore fans can't think of anything instructive they want to say. We're all just too downcast.
We might win, we might lose. Either way, I will be drunk to numb the feelings of 1) Winning. It's an Eminence Front. 2) Losing. Lonesome Loser. 3) Canadien Win. Hollow.
I am thinking of going to Harry Buffalo for the match. Is there usually a decent turnout? Do they put on the volume? If nothing else, Fat Dog is playing outside if the match isn't so good unless it storms, then they might bring it inside. I would like to meet some of you if you care to introduce yourselves.
Not sure. I was planning to go there for this match, but alas, other plans have come up... I expect a full report from H B !
A year ago I took my family on a mission Crew away trip to KC. So many emotions. This year we are relaxing at Cedar Point all weekend. Will tune into the Crew-Rapids later on tonight in our room at the Breakers. I like this year.
Downcast is a good word. I'd like to see some sort of direction from the players. We are in transition and missing some key players so it's a good night to try drink recipes.
Well, I'm heading to Harry Buffalo shortly. I live pretty close to it and hope to meet some of you there. I'll be wearing glasses, a yellow polo and shorts and I look like I could miss a meal or two. Please come introduce yourselves.
ESPN has Hansen starting as RB. Steffen is back, Guzman, Santos and Accam starting with the rest of the usual suspects.
I totally forgot we had a pregame show. I'm watching Portland at Philly for fantasy reasons until the Crew match starts.
Well, my guide still has SportsTime Ohio with Crew programming, even though the Indians game is airing.
Oh. My. God. The Colorado announcer just had to choke out the statement that "Colorado, coming off their first win of the season, will struggle without Abubakar". Watching this game from Turks and Caicos was already great, and I am feeling better about myself knowing that I am not the schmuck calling Rapids games.
