Nico Benedetti came back last night. Played the 2nd half.

He looks like a guy who hasn't played in 6 months, but I like that Herrera had him lined up as a 10.

Earned a penalty that began America's comeback.

Herrera put him in before the 1st half ended. He clearly wants to get him back to form.

In the little over 90 minutes he's been on the pitch, America has scored 6 goals.

After a string of strong appearances, Quinones finally got his first gol of the season.

In the first half, Quinones missed an open rebounder. Ball went between his legs. It looked like he completely whiffed on it.

All I could think was, that's why James is on the NT. He hit both his open shots today. But glad Quinones got a goal. He's been through a lot with the injury.

Even if Quinones whiffed I still like his instincts as a striker and his aerial game.
In some ways more than Morelos and Santos Borre (my current hot take.)

But he is still raw, inexperienced in big moments and I have no idea if he is even on Queiroz's radar or will even be on his radar at all.

John Duque former captain of Millonarios debuted with San Luis in the win of his teams agsint Chivas.....had a great match and receive a lot of good coments.....this guy in form could be the best in his position in league, also he is graduated as ingeneer in one of the best universities of Colombia.......so the guy have a discpline and mentality that maybe isnt easy to find in a colombian player.

Sucks he left as a free agent. Also that he couldn’t go to a better league as a free agent. Our guys need better agents

Quinones could be a player who will play the first quarter of the season like a god and out of nowhere he gets trashed and doesnt show up for a week. What do you do with a player like that
