No one thinks it's smart but in scheme of things it's random to get hung up on.

We literally didn't even play two of the more interesting call ups in that twenty today, ostensibly so someone with rosca can get a kick back on a sale of Estupinan...

Not playing Agudelo after the promise he showed this season in Seria A is wild considering throwing on Estupinan made half the team play out of position... It was so awkward even the Caracol people noted that the game kind of became a waste of time given it's hard to evaluate people out of their scope...

That's much more offensive to me.

Estupin actually had a pretty solid season in Portugal. So it’s not completely random.

I was mad he didn’t play Agudelo as well.

Not random that he should get called but he was the last thing the game needed at that time and shoehorning him in meant the rest of the team was playing out of position - made no sense.

Atuesta, Alzate and Agudelo need to get a lot of minutes in midfield asap. We need to build out that midfield going forward. Need to avoid relying on Quintero and James to function, we need two way midfielders. No more Uribe and Lerma as 8's please, their inability to progress the ball through passing or dribbling is the reason we are terrible without James or Quintero. We need people who can get possession and progress it in midfield while also being able to press and bring intensity the middle of the pitch, Diaz and Sini can create and press, Borre and Morelos are the heirs in the middle and Duvan and Muriel should still have 2-3 years at least of solid contributions. That midfield really needs to be sorted for us to move forward, if we can somewhat sort that early and get the group playing together we should profit, if not gonna be difficult to really turn the corner because we haven't really progressed that midfield aside from the 6 at all this last cycle.

Spot on. Uribe has been a darling of the Colombian press based on his work rate and his role at Porto but his inability to transition us cleanly into offense and resist pressure was a major issue.

Barrios is a world class ball winner but distribution isn't his forte and his presence implies you need to complement properly.

His stat profile is a very clear profile of what Uribe does. He's really at an elite level vacating midfield and making runs into goal scoring positions while being a really good defensively as an 8. Does a lot of good stuff outside of possession, and in possession he's well below the average player in his position while also playing in a weaker league for this comparison. Being in the 4th percentile for progressive carries is really atrocious and his possession stats and ability to progress the ball in possession is just really bad, Lerma is just about the same type of player too. We've had a lot of problems but for 4-7 years our lack of 8's who can contribute in possession has been our biggest glaring weakness and its crazy we didn't give more time to guys like Cantillo and Atuesta who add what we need in that roll.

So Ecuador submitted their case seemingly the day prior and thus met their deadline. We don't know the extent of Peru's case or if they even got themselves involved but we should know the results by mid/late Thursday since FIFA is based in Europe's time zones where it would be Friday for them.

I do wonder how genuine this case is and if Ecuador does have a way to prove and defend him or Chile has something legit. We'll have to wait and see.

Also, a lot of claims on Twitter is that FIFA purposely changed from the 15th to the 10th of this month to make their decision as it's seemingly a strong case for not only against Ecaudor but for Peru; Peru has seemingly submitted their case and given that they were do to play the playoff match, FIFA realized that there's a good chance that the playoff team from South America could change; hence why Peruvians are especially starting to buzz more of that on social media and even from non-peruvian sources and figures.

Again nothing set but this increases our slim second shot...

Math is not boring..... But a Lot of teachers lack the ways of the forcé to teach it properly... Barely anyone teaches applied math, only theory and long excercises.

Yeah and the crazy part about the picture the numbers tell for our players is that we have 2 elite forwards in the top tier for a ton of attacking categories in Duvan and Muriel with a 3rd in that position who is very good across the board but not elite in Morelos and we couldn't get many goals or chances created under Rueda, and that's not even counting Sini who basically didn't play and is a stats beast.

they beat us 6-1….. I don’t care if they used 12 men or 20 they deserve to go above us.

we had the option of their coach and chose two worse ones.

As for chile like their case doesn’t make sense. If fifa decides to kick Ecuador out on some bs. To then go hey Chile. You leapfrog 3 teams and can skip the play off.

Peru def wouldn’t want that since the chances of them not making the WC at this point are slim but why risk it.

they should be like hey anything against Ecuador and we should be 4th.

tho would be funny if Chile does all this only for us to make the WC. After they thought Colombia and Peru Colluded the last time to eliminate them :)

That being said Forza Ecuador and fk these people who are trying to rob them because their teams couldn’t get the job done on the field.

Meh. Christening is not required for citizenship. Ecuador has to show that Castillo is a citizen though.

Seemingly, the lack of finger prints and FIFA supposedly believing that the Ecaudorian documents aren't legit...

But we need more official and reliable sources. Read it for yourself.
