Well I guess the victories over Switzerland and Paraguay did the job and we jumped 5 places in this funny ranking. Colombia is uch better then some NT at the first 20, but I guess the ranking system is ********ed up like whole FIFA is.
I hope that we'll return in 2010 to the big stage where we belong and so our ranking.

colombia is def better than mexico haha... and how is the US 29th and Mexico is so high when US crushed Mexico 3-1??? think that ukraine and russia dont deserve to be so high either. Think that the whole not qualifing to the WC really screwed up our ranking. Tho alot of other teams that didnt qualify are in the top 30 too which annoys me. Dont think Copa Kirin nor game vs Chile is goin to move us up either because they are ranked worse than us but a good showing at copa america will... think anything less then getting to the semi finals will be disappointing unless were eliminated by brasil after group stages.

The rankings are more accurate than in the past. Let's be honest: Colombia hasn't done much to even be in top 20 but hopefully Pinto will change that...

Ukraine was in the QF of the last WC. They deserve to be a top 15 place.

What will be with this stupid system of ranking?!?!?!?! Colombia won Panama
4-0. won Montenegro 1-0 and drew 0-0 with Japan and fell 5 places????? Blatter hates Colombia or he must be drunk. even that this ranking really silly and I barely give a shit about it, but what about some sense???? huh???

remember that copa Kirin is not a FIFA tourney, in pts has hardly any value, the key here is to see what points get deleted from 49 months ago.

It is the otherway. Those results will be out of the ranking, as soon as we pass the month, since is the last 4 years, that means for example that in august they will not take in consideration the results of july 2003 but the results of 2007, understand?

    That's how it works!!

    true to that
I also agree with your other comment, the euros are getting GOOD points for having play FIFA qualified quals for Eurocopa...so they move to the top 20...
next time you all will see teams from Copa Oro doing better than most conmebol teams....after july the turn is for colombia and argentina (god help me!)

48 months only! that is the key to that...not the last month's meaningless amistosos.

Re: Amistoso: Colombia vs. Paraguay 9/9/2007 (r)

Lol those are only small examples, there have been worse quotes...anyway, Colombia ascended to post 24 on the new fifa rankings, while Paraguay has been left at 31....anyone feel like the FIFA ratings are pure b.s or does anyone feel somewhat happy we're back in the TOP 30?
