Re: Re: Re: Re: The best College Football Div. 1-A conference? According to your theory, well.... I think you better off competing your time at the airport and sniff luggages.
I voted for the SEC cause someone has to give the SEC some love. It was about time we got mentioned. Yeah, we are in a down year conference wise, but we still got Florida, Tenesse, Georgia, Auburn, and LSU in the top 25. Go Gators!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: The best College Football Div. 1-A conference? You don't live in the great west coast, so you don't know the Pac- 10 conference at all, plus you ain't got no balls to stay up late anyway. Haha! You probably will bleed first real bad way before i do, and trust me, you don't want to mess with a US Marine........ HOOOORAH! PS: Like I said before, I think you better off competing your time at the airport and sniff luggages than bitching, gaysmacking and trolling some smack around the forum causing problems like a complete Jackass that you really are.
***MOD NOTE*** Fellas, knock off this bs (I include myself). Get back to football smack, or we'll close this thread! Further note - I removed a few posts and edited a couple of others to get this thread back on track. This is a smack off thread, so we'll moderate lightly, but don't get too personal or go off track.
I voted for the Big 12; they're the deepest. Texas will beat OU now that Simms is gone. USC will win the Nat'l Championship, but the rest of that conference is crap. But you are all forgetting the wildcard in all of this, the #1 ranked team in 1-AA, the victim of a Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy to keep them down, the team that crushed mighty Stonehill College 78-6:
For all you midwest assclowns who think the Big Televen is better than the Big 12, here's a team by team comparison, starting from approximate best team to worst. You can stop reading when it gets stupid- about the 3rd line or so. Big 12 -------- Big Televen Oklahoma --------- Ohio State Texas --------- Michigan Kansas State --------- Purdue Nebraska --------- Wisconsin Colorado -------- Penn State Texas A&M ------- Iowa Oklahoma State -------- Minnesota Texas Tech --------- Michigan State Is there any reason to continue?
Just an idea. I think it would be cool if after the end of season, They could have All-Star conference games. Best out of Big12, best out of Big10 ect.ect.
So what are you saying? The winners would be: Oklahoma over Ohio State Michigan over Texas Kansas State over Purdue Wisconsin over Nebraska Penn St over Colorado Texas A&M/Iowa - wash Oklahoma St over Minnesota Texas Tech over Michigan State Not really a blow out like you would think.
Re: Poll Good idea, but I seriously doubt that many of the people here will know much about every conference unless they are a dedicated college football fan (there are some of us). Plus, it looks like one can inflate any section of the vote in votes.
I thought this whole debate was settled by the Northwestern - Kansas game? Northwestern 28 Kansas 20 ... in Lawrence. The Big 10 is clearly superior.
i am a sooner fan. i've been to about 9 games in norman since 1996. i have some good friends who live in edmund and okc. i lived in tulsa for a while. i know oklahoma very well. al ashback, dean blevins, the whole thing
How do you explain the fact that the Pac-10 conference manufactured more NFL players, primarily on defense, than any other conferences? Go Cougs!
the same way you explain why Penn State had 4 First Round draft picks, and 6 total in the first 2 rounds of the draft (more than any school in the nation) yet still lost 4 games
Yep, pretty much like The NFL draft of 1998 drafting about 12 or so Washington Huskies players, ( most than any school) yet they finished 8-4 in '97
Look here for Washington State photos. http://washingtonstate.theinsiders.com/2/85175.html Dosent look good for Washington State.
Hello???! Are you aware the fact that Jason Gesser was playing injured all season long? Do you even remembered or watched the Washington State v UCLA game for the Pac- 10 championship? Oh yea, when Jason Gesser's injury got worst, and never recovered against OU.
