Here's a guy who is curiously being overlooked. He is a '06 and currently training with FC Nordsjælland and apparently debuted with FH Hafnarfjörður's first team from Iceland according to TM. https://www.instagram.com/williamcolecampbell/ https://www.transfermarkt.us/cole-campbell/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/866579/verein/1185 An article related to him says that his mother is from Iceland. He was also called up to Icelandic national camps U-15 and U-16. https://www.dv.is/433/2020/06/24/ha...ad-ad-vera-med-ekki-fullordnu-folki-saemandi/ https://www.ksi.is/um-ksi/frettir/frettasafn/frett/2021/03/15/U15-karla-aefir-dagana-22.-24.-mars/ https://www.ksi.is/um-ksi/frettir/f...inn-hja-U16-karla-fyrir-aefingar-8.-10.-mars/ He was a time in the DA with Atlanta United. http://aufc.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams/index.php?team=3937260&player=366152258
Some services are saying he debuted today in the league: It would appear that 15 year old Cole Campbell made his league debut in Iceland today for FH.Who knows about him? He was called for Iceland U17 and score in a victory against Finland. https://www.transfermarkt.us/cole-campbell/nationalmannschaft/spieler/866579/verein_id/26034
Ran into this, might not be Campbell but the Icelandic mother makes me think it could be him, but this is also a post by someone completely random on the internet might not be true at all. Still, something to keep an eye on
It looks like he was trialing at Dortmund last summer, that Reddit poster is most likely talking about Campbell.

Remember you were asking about the Nike Friendlies? Would be a perfect opportunity to call him in to the U-17 team. I don't know when the '17s are getting together again.
It's Instagram-official. I'll update the title. https://www.instagram.com/p/CdonJaB...d&ig_rid=7afe6157-7db9-4e42-87f6-4bfd94ed823c
Former @ATLUTD academy player and Icelandic American, cole Campbell looks like he’s started his journey at Dortmund. Interesting player. Dominant physical profile for his age. pic.twitter.com/xN0kkfz1Qm— Jimmy O. (@soccer_usa_) June 27, 2022
This might be somewhat off topic, but the news of his move reminds me of the time, just before Campbell moved from Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar to Dortmund when, in need of a cold drink on a warm day, he stopped into a coffee shop in Kópavogur and requested a cup of ice water, for which he was charged the Icelandic equivalent of $4. "You know," the barista, who apparently was a fan of Campbell's club and had recognized him, said, "we don't get many Icelandic-Americans in here." "Well, at these prices," Campbell replied, "you won't get many more!"
