I have to say, I am so far very cautiously optimistic about the direction this club is taking from a personnel standpoint. I expected a relatively safe, boring retreat American coach and we're getting anything but that. I know his stint in Brazil was a mess, but that's a very very difficult place to coach. Apparently, he has a great reputation throughout South America, even after his struggles in Brazil. Excited to hear he wants to play an up-tempo, attacking style of soccer. They said from the start they would be looking across the entire world for talented players and coaches. So far we've signed players and coaches from four different continents, so they're definitely holding up their end of the bargain there. Will this result in immediate success on the pitch? Who knows, but I'm rather impressed so far.
