Cannot believe the Mossad will let this clocksucker die of natural causes. You're slipping, guys.

I think it shows you how worried they are of the succession

The terrorist vegetable. If it was anybody else you'd really feel bad.

Did anybody else see the little guy the hospital sent out to face the press? He was wearing what may have been a military uniform, and he walked up to a microphone and said (in French) "Arafat is not dead" and then turned and walked away.

I wondered for a minute of this was a Peter Sellers movie.

The guy probably IS brain dead, and they've admitted he can't breath on his own. It's likely a matter of deciding to pull the plug, which - based on current signs - may be aaround 2010.

Not to cause dissent here in Mike's thread, but the thing I found fascinating was that yesterday Chirac refused to meet with Allawi, but did go to the hospital to see Arafat. The pandering Chirac does to their Arab minority would make a politician almost anywhere else blush with shame.

C'mon, Bill, you know and I know that that sort of pandering is simply par for the course for most politicians.

Man... I don't care who it is... I don't wish this kind of thing on anyone...

To be going abroad for treatment... to wave to people before getting on a helicopter... then to be showing improvement... then to just suddenly have everything go terribly wrong and have your body shut down.

    It just seems really awful.

No, it's a war between Pro-Israel and Pro-Palestine factions if you like, Mike. :)

You could think this is a petty correction but it is not.

Just think about how it would have sounded different if you had said "a war between the Pro-Palestine and Anti-Palestine factions".

Never let the widespread misuse of words direct your thoughts. "liberal" is not a bad word.

This guy is all for Israel existence in its legitimate borders (67).

p.s. Not to scare you but expect ppl interested in the israeli-palestinian conflict to participate in a thread talking about arafat's coming death.

p.p.s. I promise I won't go off topic in this thread. This one was on topic since I felt being directly involved.

Remember Sidney Carton from "A Tale of Two Cities?" Well, it's happened again. Except this time, it's Ringo Starr on life support. Meanwhile, Yasser Arafat is sitting in with Paul McCartney & Eric Clapton.

Arafat is not on life support. The rumours of his possible death are unture. These are lies spread by the American and Isreali infidels. He is awake and joking around with those around him. He will return and lead the Palestinians to greater glory. Praise Allah

No way Dan, I promised Lastort not to hijack this thread into the usual endless discussion between the pro-Palestine and anti-Palestine factions.

And now its becoming a 3 ring circus in the Paris Hosipital....

Suha Arafat, Arafat wife whos 40 year difference from Arafat himself, is lashing out not on Israel, which she had earlier this week, but on the PA authority for "trying to burry Arafat alive" by coming to Paris and asking him who gets control over what.

Seems that Arafat, on the verge of death, is now being cloned by his wife, whos all of a sudden calling all the shots for the PA.

Afterall, the PA gives her a nice cheque to purchase a Mercedes Benz, but from Suha's standpoint:
"Well..what do you expect me to drive? A Citreon? Negro's drive Citreon! I am an Arab women. I drive Benzol" :D

Is the corpse dead yet? Or is it still sleeping? Apparently the money trail is proving to be difficult to unravel.

Right now, he's lungs and heart have collapse, but from what i am hearing, there is a huge privacy policy in the hospital and it was rumoured that Arafat already had died.... its a really intresting saga....

As for the money woes....Mr. Arafat wifes, suha....refused to accept an offer worth over 2 million dollars, just to stay out of Palestinian affairs... Seems she wants to profetere more on the palestinian suffering ;)

He better come out of it or he is going to talk billions of dollars with him when he dies. A great leader for great people.
